Ok, I recall a young woman that married a wealthy man. He really was in love with her. She wanted the stability of a husband. In the end, the groundsman that loved her and I think she loved him too, walked away. She ended up getting on a horse and going quite a way to catch him. In the end, they went back to the home together. That's all I can remember, but I'd love to find that movie. Tried Googling it, I had no luck. Thank you.

This is "Far From the Madding Crowd" based on the Thomas Hardy novel.
There are two feature film versions:
1967 with Julie Christie as Bathsheba, along with Alan Bates, Peter Finch and Terence Stamp.
A 2015 version starred Carey Mulligan.
There was also a British television adaptation.

Think 2015 one is it. Think Carrie Mulligan was the female. I love Julie Christie, I'll have to see the one with her in it sometime too. Thanks so much on to IMBD.
That's it!!!!! @Johnnyeager That's it, You are Brillant!!!

@Johnnyeager Isn't that funny how the horse riding at the end stuck in both our heads. And her hair braid!! I remembered that too.
