I guess it could kind of, sort of could qualify as a love story but my favorite movie of all time is Dirty Dancing.
I hear a song from it and can tell you what scene it's from.

Can't narrow it down to one: Favorites: Casablanca, Gone With the Wind, Notorious, African Queen, Double Indemnity. Never get tired of watching any of those.

This is a tough one. Some of these aren't love stories but you asked for a favorite love story. I guess 'An Affair to Remember' has to be one. I mean, wow, when he discovered the wheel chair? It was chilling. Such love. And both their tears when they embraced. Whew.
Probably Mrs. Miniver. A real love story there. I love the ending where Mr. Miniver comforts the old lady. I loved the movie, I loved the lead actors, so I guess it's one of my favorite love stories.
I think I have to put in The Best Years of Our Lives. The scene when he comes home and surprises her. The look on her face, wow. And much later in the movie she puts him to bed, lovingly, when he's dead drunk. I don't think I could ever do that, lol.
Casablanca is a favorite and I watch it every time TCM has it on. Every time. Plus I have it recorded. I can never leave DISH, haha. "Of all the gin joints in all the world, she walks into mine." And he's loved her all those years, and she, him. The song made it all so romantic, played throughout. When they went back in time to explain what happened in Paris, the music was so gorgeous. Zowie. Whatta movie.
There are so many more but of course when you want to think of them you can't.
