Re: I'm Already Muting Promotional Spots

I'm in Southern California, and I don't think I've seen any political ads .... or maybe I'm fast forwarding through the commercials too quickly!

I haven't heard any yet.  It's good to be so unimportant that nobody pays attention to you.  Just think, a whole year to go.

I live in Fl. and have been seeing a lot of Jeb Bush promos, probably because he was our Governor at one time.

I almost never watch live TV anymore. I record everything on my DVR and fast forward all the commercials. I get most of my news from NPR, BBC World News, and PBS. It makes campaign season and every other season much more pleasant.

Me too.  And not just political commercials, I also mute any and all political discussions.  Anywhere and everywhere.  I simply do not care at  this point, it's too early in the process.  Right now it's all just noise and junk.

Re: I'm Already Muting Promotional Spots

I must admit to being a political junkie who happens to live with one as well, but neither of us can take the inundation of the (same) political ads over and over again.

Fortunately, we live in a late primary state, so we have not seen presidential ads yet.  Unfortunately, our state is voting for governor and several other offices this year, so we are seeing those.  Our phone also rings constantly.

Soon, it will be over, and then the presidential ads will begin.  Also, because we are right on the border with another state, we will get hit with their political ads, too.

Thank goodness for DVRs!
