It's about a rapisr/murderer in CA.  Patton Oswald's wife was writing a book about it when she died.

I watched the 3rd episode last night. I recorded it and started watching at midnight.  Only had the TV on.  Now, I'm not skiddish or am I afraid of things that go bump in the night.

1/2 way through there was a thud in the kitchen.  I sat up and looked around and toward the kitchen.

In strolls the cat giving me a "you a little jumpy?"

Upon investigation darn cat knocked a plant of a shelf.

I like the series but I can't imagine ingesting all that horror for years to write the book.

@Mz iMac   It's on HBO Sunday night at 10:00 pm.  I believe it's a 10 part series.

I knew the writer, Michelle MacNamara, was married to Patton Oswald and that she died at 46.  Evidently she was a true crime writer.

My daughter knew about her book and this series.  She got HBO solely to watch the series.

Her husband said she was consumed with finding the East Area Rapist also known as the Original Night Stalker.  He raped 50 women and killed 12 people.

She had insomnia and nightmares.

I believe they caught the guy after her death.

I recommend the book too.  It is a good one, keeps your interest.

I watched the first two episodes, I have realized it's not for me.
