I could not believe they showed Elizabeth Taylor brushing

her teeth in Butterfield 8 .....

I do not care for watching someone brush their teeth on TV, it isn't necessary as are many other activities which seem to be routine now.  I am very selective with what I watch.

I'm just guessing here ...  but I think it's a scene used to imply total intimacy between the two people.
