TV and Movies

I've tried several times to watch this movie when it was on TCM. I kept falling asleep. I'd see some of the beginning, some of the middle, but never the ending. 

I was waiting patiently for TCM to air it again, but I checked their schedule and it's not listed for the rest of March or April. So I watched it on YouTube.

Finally, I got to see the whole movie and I enjoyed it. I guess back in the day this was a really suspenseful movie but by today's standards, it's pretty tame. Still it was good and I had fun guessing who was making the calls. I didn't think it was who it turned out to be since I thought that was too obvious ..... but I was wrong, LOL!

I love it.  I think it's pretty scary even "by today's standards."  Such a different role for Doris Day.  I remember hearing on TCM that she was so traumatized by this role they had to stop production in the middle of it  And she vowed to never do another "thriller."  

Glad you finally saw the ending.  Wasn't the "caller's" voice creepy?!

It's an enjoyable movie but a bit overdone IMO and the guilty party was fairly easy to figure out.

@kaydee50  I kept thinking it can't be who it turned out to be, that's way too obvious. I was waiting for a twist.

Still, I enjoyed it!

The strengths of this movie boil down to its production values... The sets and costumes are fabulous...
