Especially after you've invested 90 minutes of your life watching something with no ending.  Makes me furious.

brinig out an obscure character at the ending to be the killer (in murder mysteries) with a very weak motive.

And I hate ones that are so dark you can't see the action;  the rumbling sounds are often too loud.

@Tique    It seems to be the avant garde thing to let the viewer dream up his own ending.  I'm too old to learn to be a screen writer at this point.  I want to be told how it ends.  Surprise me.

 The " left up in the air " movie endings used to be rare.  In recent years , it has become more frequent . I think they leave some movies ambiguous  at the end so they can leave the door open to a sequel.
