I was thinking the lead/star had curly blonde hair. Rob Morrow is technically the star of Mr. Miracle. This is one I haven't seen, but need to as it's always on various lists of good ones.

I just saw it will be playing again this Fri the 20th at 11am on the Hallmark Drama channel!

And while searching for this with you all, I found a lot of cute Christmas movies on Netflix. A lot of have better writers and good acting. It's been a lot of fun discovering these-

not as syrupy or predictable as some of the esp new Hallmark channel ones.

I’m so impressed someone found this!! The description on Hallmark’s website is completely different as it focuses on Rob Morrow’s character. No wonder the OP had a difficult time finding it (but how interesting that an upcoming movie has a semi-similar sounding plot!)

Thanks for this, too. I just placed a reminder on my tv so I won't miss it.

BTW, there was an article in New Yorker about the history of the Hallmark television programs called "How Hallmark Took Over Cable Television."

It mentions how much better current movies are than those from when they started. It also says that the romances aren't just for the sake of romance, but because the characters discover something good in each other. I do like that approach.
