I love the Bee Gees.  My first, (dearly departed) husband (the love of my life) and I loved disco music and loved the Bee Gees.  

This was one of our favorite songs.  I am imagining in my mind, him holding me and we are dancing on the dance floor to this song  like we did so many times in the past.

Even though I'm crying right now, I know how grateful and blessed I've been to experience true love.  I love and miss him so.

This thread has me watching Bee Gees videos this morning.  It's impressive how much music the band produced over the years.

Look up on YouTube Bee Gees Wall of Death. Play the longer clip that includes them singing the medley at the end. It was from Euro MTV in 1993. Their singing is amazing but the game portion shows how hilarious they are. Robin was in fine form that day. 🤣 Look also for the video of them performing Blue Island from that same appearance. It’s a beautiful song.

Now that is impressive.

When you think that they were performing before I was even born and their voices were still that amazing so many decades later.  Incredible.

look up the song titled "you win again"  never heard it on the radio but love it!

You Win Again was their big “comeback” hit in 1987 after the disco backlash. During that period they had been focusing mainly on writing and producing for other artists (Streisand, Diana Ross, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers and more). You Win Again was a huge hit most everywhere in the world except the USA where radio stations still largely refused to play their songs and their record company honestly didn’t fight very hard for them. Barry was looking particularly 💕💕💕 about this time. In his 40s.

Everyone knows they wrote Islands in the Stream? (Dolly and Kenny). It’s not my favorite song but what’s interesting is that it was originally supposed to be an R&B song for Diana Ross and they changed it up and turned it into a country song.
