Home Town Early Christmas Dinner Show

Did anyone watch it and think that Erins parents were a little standoffish or was it just me?  Especially her mom who seemed a little put out that Erin made her first Gumbo with her mom being there.

@Imaoldhippie - I watched and thought it was a little strange that Erin had to keep asking her mother if she liked the gumbo.  The mother's response certainly wasn't very enthusiastic.

@ImaoldhippieI watched a rerun of this and I see what you are talking about. Erin's mother could have been more enthusiastic about the gumbo. She mentioned that the gumbo should be darker in color. Erin seemed to take it in stride. The father is low key, quiet and not on often. Nor is her brother, Clark.
