One of my favorite movies to watch this time of year. I have the DVD which has the black and white and colorized versions. If any of you have ever been curious, Marjorie Reynolds sparkly dress in their New Years number is gold. One of the "bonus" features on the DVD talks about how they discovered what the colors should be for the dresses, etc.

Another old farmhouse I love. And Marjorie Reynolds was such a delight in her role.  I never tire of this movie.

Airing this three or so weeks ago might have been nice.

Missed it, darn!

This is a dream movie.  One of my Christmas time faves, that's for sure.

Exactly what I was thinking.  I looked for this all season long.

I'm totally over all the holiday movies now.  I didn't know it was on but even if I had known, I'm not sitting down to this type of programming now.

I was so happy to see Hallmark back to regular programming.

I'm a huge fan of White Christmas and was able to watch several airings of it on AMC this year, but sadly I've never ever seen Holiday Inn.  Every year I try to find when it's going to be on and manage to miss it. Oh well, my streak of not catching this movie continues.  Does anyone else agree that Christmas programming is getting worse each year?  They don't show enough Christmas movies and when they do, they cram them all in the week of Christmas and then show them at odd times of the day or evening.

Loved Bing's voice - I don't think there has ever been one like it before, and I definitely don't believe there will ever be another.

Dean Martin said he fashioned himself after der Bingle. I think he did a darn good job.

@LeoGrl, you've nailed it.  We were just talking about this earlier in December.  You'd think that smart programmers would realize that there is a hunger for this, and respond accordingly.  We'll hold them to account next year!

Sorry that you missed "Holiday Inn".   Sometimes they show it other times of the year, since it's about other holidays in addition to Christmas.  They do bits on Valentine's Day, Lincoln's Birthday etc. in the film.  So it may pop up at an odd time on TCM.  If I see it I'll put up an alert....
