Congrats to Hoda. Hope they promote Craig Melvin to Hoda's spot. He has long deserved to be an equal to Savannah and Hoda.

She's not "retiring";  that was made quite clear on the show.  She's leaving The Today Show, remaining with NBC in some capacity.  Probably to do occasional important interviews.  I'll miss her in the morning. 

I also think that Craig becoming the co-anchor makes great sense.

@Sooner.  That's exactly how I feel about GMA, totally entertainment related, and can't stand any of the principals.

I always liked Hoda and especially with Jenna.

I say Yippee!  Have never liked her.  She does not speak proper English .  Her "Good Mornin" without the "g" makes me scream.  The "Hey" is just as bad.  I only watch the first half hour or so and then I flip channels.  I do watch longer when she is not on. Glad she's going.

Always liked Hoda with either Kathy Lee or Jenna. Very fun to watch. Very rarely did I watch the Today show, but caught 10am show. Haven’t watched the show in quite awhile since I have nick jr on for my daughter. Whatever edge decides to do, I’m hoping she does get to spend time with her two beautiful daughters.
