Hidden Figures

In the runup to the Oscars' I saw Hidden Figures several days ago. It is about African American womens' contributions as mathematicians, programmers and engineers in the early space race at NASA. It is based on true stories but it is not dry or boring in any way. I would recommend it for anyone.

My favorite movie of the year! I learned so much even though I lived through that era in a home where we watched the space probes used in the film. I just knew nothing about the behind the scenes work. Definitely not dull in gthe least dull and boring for me.

I thought this movie was outstanding. I went by myself and MADE myself go because my two best friends told me not to miss it.

I'm so glad I went. As they usually are, best friends are right!

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

My daughter asked me to go see Hidden Figures several weeks ago and at the time I hadn't really heard anything about it. But I thought hey - it's an afternoon with my daughter so I'm going. And I was so glad I went. I really enjoyed it.
