Heather Locklear hospitalized after claiming she was going to shoot herself

This woman needs help badly. I hope she's not another celeb that commits suicide. She has a young daughter. I guess she's around 20 or so? I feel sorry for her.

It is so sad. It seems from what you read that she does have wonderful caring parents and friends. But she must be at such a point where she cannot seem to see that others are trying to help her. I just hope that she is able to see that she really needs a more serious approach before something terrible happens to her and/or someone around her.

I know she is a human being in need of our prayers. However, I think of all she has had going for her, beauty, money, family, health etc. etc. and it is hard to drum up much sympathy. I think of those poor children in camps losing their parents and just look at the news and all the pain and suffering. I know mental illness has nothing obviously to do with what you have and look like. She is fortunate that she can get help.

Heather Locklear is 56. She was 20 in 1981 when she was in Dynasty.

Edited to add: @DukeBlueNan let me know you were talking about HL's daughter being 20. I realize now that it's obvious that's what you meant.

Thanks for the correction @DukeBlueNan. I read her post twice and didn't catch that. It's obvious now that that's what she meant.

It is very sad, hopefully this time she gets the much needed help.She has been down this road before, with Domestic Violence charges, and driving while intoxicated....All signs of a downward spiral......So I am hoping this time she gets the help that she really needs.
