Caught the episode where Harold formed a rock band called the Leaping Lizards!  Suzie was their biggest fan.  Wow, the parents really overreacted - Their hair wasn't even all that long. 

 

Always liked this show.  Wondered why the older couple were written off.

Sadly, the boy who played Harold was killed in a car crash at age 21. Shirley Booth lived to be 92. 

I think the final season, the show switched from NBC to CBS, and maybe Whiteny Blake and Don Defore were let go and unknowns brought on, perhaps the older ones were making too much money, just my guess. 

Whitney Blake was real life Mom to actress Meredith Baxter.
