Has anyone that uses the old DirecTV app tried the new DirecTV app

If you have been using the old Directv app, have you tried the new version yet? My app is free with my full DirecTV satellite account and I watch it on my iPad. Every time I go on it, it is telling me to load the new app. What do you think of the new app?
