They did a story about her on Inside Edition last week.

I read about her story last week too.... she had cancer, knowing full well that she didn't have much longer to live, and going on Jeopardy was on her bucket list.  She wanted her winnings to go to various cancer research charities.  She was only 41.

What a story.  Her show was taped in August, and aired this past Tuesday (12/13), but she died of Stage IV cancer on 12/5.  It was the first posthumous appearance in Jeopardy's long history.  The good news is that she won $22.800, which she donated to cancer research.

She looks rather frail and her voice sounds week during the tapings.  But she accomplished a bucket list item and helped charities to boot.  Loss of a good person in this world.

I haven't seen it, but have obviously heard of her. Story on the morning news said she had won a few days so far and still on. I wonder if they comment on her illness the day she eventually loses? It's very inspiring.

Cindy was an angel to put her suffering aside so that she could donate her winnings to cancer research. May she Rest In Peace and prayers for her family.
