Has Anyone Seen The "Little Dorrit" Series?

I got the netflix disc.  LOVE period  movies!

Episode 1 of Little Dorrit was almost bland!

Did you like it?

I was wondering the same thing.  It is on Brit Box, and their period pieces are usually pretty good.  Haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but it is on my watch list.

I also love period pieces and always enjoy a Dickens classic.  I saw Little Dorrit on Masterpiece Theater years ago and yes, I loved it.  As always the acting was excellent and the settings amazing.

It is a dark story at times but Dickens takes you down that path.  Eventually it comes together and I loved the journey.

I would watch it again but that is me.  I hope you enjoy Little Dorrit and appreciate the acting and find the story worth while as I did !

@VegasBusinessWomanIt is 4 1/2 stars on Netflix.  All of their reviews were glowing.  I'll probably finish the first disc tomorrow night.

It was so good.  Watched it years ago, and then bought it.  However, it is agony on some parts  Charles Dickens just doesn't give some people a break.  Lol

if I remember, I was watching the serial on tv, couldn't sand waiting and ordered the dvd on amazon.

@ECBG , Thanks for the tip.  I have trouble watching TV, I get bored with it.  If I do watch, it is some subscription service via Roku.  Since everyone here seemed to like it, I'll definitely watch it.😊

If you Have Britbox you might want to watch Good Karma Hospital, Shakespeare and Hathaway. And classics like New Tricks, inspector Lewis, midsummer murders.   I am watching Sandition now....  After a slow start it was pretty good.
