Harlan Coben series on Netflix

Today I will finish watching  The Five.  I've watched The Stranger and Safe.  I've enjoyed all of them.

If you watched Downton Abbey, one of Mary's almost husbands, Tony Gillingham, is the lead actor in The Five.

Thanks for the recommendation @lulu1 .  I love his novels and I enjoyed both those shows.  Always looking for a new show to watch during these times.

Re: Harlan Coben series on Netflix

I started watching SAfe, and while the ending was actually good, it was way too long, it could have been 3 episodes with enough time to develop the plot.  I thought the plot was actually good just way too long to get there.

I skipped thru chunks of it.

Netflix shows to me tend to be very slow

debating on whether to try the others.  also wondering why these are set in the UK when he lives in New Jersey?? any intel on this

This Jersey girl wondered why a Jersey boy always set his stories in the UK.

I finished The Five.  I read Netflix is filming a another one of his stories.

@lulu1 It looks as though he has a deal with Netflix to film most of his books and they will be Produced to be shown in different countries And therefore adapted to those countries. There is a story on variety.com

@lulu1  I've read about 27 of his books. From what I remember all took place in NJ. I think it was The Stranger that changed the location to England.

I haven't read his books but I've watched 3 series.  There is no carry over in any of them.
