Re: Happy Birthday Barbara Streisand!

I've seen her in concert twice.  Loved both concerts, but I consider the first one, in 1994, to be One of the highlights of my life.  Seriously. I was beyond thrilled to see her and I wasn't disappointed.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Used to be a fan but since she got older she has become quite an ugly and nasty curmudgeon, hence no more BS!

@ScarletDove

I agree with your statement.  Not only that, her voice - she can peel paint off a wall - not pleasant.  Cannot abide the scream that's supposed to be "musical."  I'm classically trained and was dragged (talked into a concert years ago) and spent most of the time plugging my ears.

@sfnative  Being classically trained, I'll bet there are many singers who stifle your hearing.... your description of BS's voice gave me a great laugh!
