I have tickets to see this one in two days.  Anyone have opinions/views on this production?

Not with him in it....I'll look it up...It might help if you give a brief synopsis what it's about.  For instance, is it a play, a movie, what is it?

I think he's a fine actor.  I would like to see his take except --

-- I clicked on @Annabellethecat66's link to the NY Times review, saw the electric light in the picture and rolled my eyes.  Then I read on and just no.   Ophelia taking photos with a camera?  Ouch!  The slings and arrows!

I don't believe in changing the setting of Shakespeare's plays.  It's done all the time and I've never seen a single production where they did it and I liked it.

@Puzzle Piece I agree with @LoriLori please post your impressions on this after you've been.  He's coming to Washington, DC on November 22.  My daughter and granddaughters are great fans of his, they might go see it. Hope you like it.

@Annabellethecat66 It is a film of the play.  Like being in the front row of the stage but it's on a screen. 

I've seen Shakespeare performed with various costumes, sets, eras, in various way.  I can't be too sure how this one will play out but will let you know.

Okay, went and enjoyed this one.  Mr. Cumberbatch was quite good.  If it comes to your city or town, I recommend.
