@proudlyfromNJ  -  YES!  The first "Halloween" movie is by far the scariest ever!  He's so creepy and quiet and just moves from one place to the next, no emotion.  I also liked that there wasn't so much blood and gore, which to me isn't scary.  The idea of being chased is terrifying though and the music about sends me over the edge!  We watch "Halloween" every Halloween.

 

My other favorites are:

Disney's Legend of Sleepy Hollow (animated)

Hocus Pocus

Ghost and Mr. Chicken

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

The Shining

I  watched It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown this weekend, and will probably watch again before Halloween.

 

The Exorcist is my favorite movie to watch at Halloween.
