I just saw the new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel movie Vines That Bind in the Chronicle Mysteries series starring Alison Sweeney.
It seemed to me one of the better movies Hallmark has created. In this film, she investigates murders in Pennsylvania wine country.
Some of you may already know this, but I also just read that Alison Sweeney's part was influenced by her love of true-crime podcasts and in which she plays a newspaper reporter who also airs a true-crime podcast. And that she has written both novels and non-fiction books.
The only fault I had with this film is that it was hard to tell two of the actors apart (Benjamin Ayres and Dave Collette).

I also enjoyed it and looking forward to more Chronicles. Love anything Alison does. Watched her grow up on Days of Our Lives.

This was my favorite of the three Chronical Mysteries aired so far. This Sun. night, the "The Crossword Mysteries" with Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliot and Barbara Niven debuts.

I do try not to duplicate threads but didn't come across the other one.

It was spelled wrong when I searched for it here, so I guess that's why it didn't come up. Just wanted to say I didn't like 'the Wrong Man' as well as the first episode. Wayyyyy too many suspects. And him taking pictures of the machines, lol. It was so lame. I don't know, maybe it was just me. But I will be watching the third one as I record all of them, so my time is probably not your time. I love that little restaurant where they're seen eating now and again. I like the big guy as a character actor. He's pretty likeable. The other guy-and yes they do have a similar look-not very much. I love the Uncle. So natural. Nice looking. So!!! I'll be watching and I hope everyone will keep posting to see where this show goes!

And therein lies the problem with them recycling all the actors through all the movies. He killed his wife in another movie and that's all I can think about whenever he appears on screen! lol
