Love the Hallmark Christmas Movies, are they all basically the same? YUP.  Part of their charm.  I love them and right now I need the diversion cause for me right now real life aint great.

i for one am just glad we get a reprieve of the Golden Girls  I didn't like that show when it first aired I really dislike it now

Just my opinion.

Re: Hallmark Christmas Movies

My favorite is Christmas Under Wraps and the one with Henry Winkler.  My son loves Evergreen.  He got hooked on the movies when he was up late one night and there was nothing else to watch.  We also love the Martha's Vineyard Mysteries.

@AuntG  The Christmas sweater was MEH, but then most of them are... It wasn't bad, it wasn't good. Same old story, they meet, they're at odds, over time they fall, there's a misunderstanding, he's on his way out of town when he has an epiphany, as does she, there's more than a nod to kids and the mandatory nod to veterans, they kiss, the end... Probably worth checking out just for the pretty snow scenes and holiday decor, but otherwise sort of weak.... The man's transition from semi-curmudgeonly to gung ho Christmas seemed a bit forced and so was a little hard to buy...

Re: Hallmark Christmas Movies

I just can't do the Hallmark Movies....Christmas or otherwise.  Is the original Lifetime Channel now doing mostly movies and Christmas movies like Hallmark is.  I think they do have a movie channel but I've noticed when I'm flipping channels that Lifetime appears to have a lot of the light airy movies that resemble the Hallmark format.

The only one I like is Comfort and Joy with Nancy McKeon from 2003. Otherwise I don't watch because they all seem to be the same. This one was different.

Re: Hallmark Christmas Movies

Living in the subtropics, I rarely have a chance to even wear a coat, much less a scarf, hat or mittens.   I love seeing what everyone is wearing in the Christmas movies.

Havent seen or heard of that one, but then I’m just getting started on watching the ones that sound interesting to me.

I didn’t watch that one. It didn’t interest me. I DVR the ones I think I’ll like based on the info.

I actually liked Christmas sweater one more than I thought I would.  I turned it on because DD was down and we were looking or something to watch.  I am not a huge fan of AW...her bubbly personality in every movie gets on my last nerve....but I actually liked it far more than I thought I would.

Re: Hallmark Christmas Movies

I think they do the yule log most of the day, but not positive. I get 3 different Hallmark channels, so it may not be on all of them.
