Hallmark Channel Destination Wedding (SPOILERS)

[ Edited ]

I just finished watching Destination Wedding with Alexa Penevega on the Hallmark Channel.  I recorded it the other night.  I thought it was one of the better movies I've seen on that channel.  I really enjoyed it.  Did anyone else watch it?

Yes.  I did watch when it shown originally.  It was well done, and I really enjoyed the stars in the movie.  Don't recall their names, but they did a very believable job.  One of Hallmark's better movies IMHO.

Yes I watched it last night and enjoyed it.  I usually don't watch too many Hallmark movies because they are so predictable, but this held my interest.  Also the scenery was beautiful.  I saw Alexa on a talk show and she said they had a lot of fun filming at the resort in Acapulco.

This is the sort of movie that I enjoy, too.  I'll have to look for it.

I DVR all the new movies on both of the Hallmark channels, my DVR is so full right now, I will eventually watch it, and now after reading some of the reviews it seems I have something to look forward to!

I watched too but had some confusion at the ending.  The show was all about the sister getting married but the ending had the other sister and "best man"  getting married.  Did this happen instead of the original wedding?

Yes, they kept saying that she was actually planning her own dream wedding and not her sister's.  I assume her sister and fiance got married later.

Re: Hallmark Channel Destination Wedding

I am so glad you pointed this out! My family just watched and movie was great until the ending. It shifted story line so abruptly and left audience to "construct" their own supposed ending. It would have been so easy to make  a logical ending that flowed with the storyline. Less of " searching" for Greg could have been making the transition to a "double wedding" or say One Year Later ... any ending that simply made sense could have worked! Writers..don't drop the ball in the last 2 minutes!
