It'll be nice if all our different references and discussion of the ending of "The Red Shoes", intrigues someone new to the film to watch all the way through!

I always forget, how in "Black Narcissus",  the howling, incessant wind keeps blowing and blowing through the airy convent on a Himalayan precipice-- it forms an eerie backdrop to all the action that takes place....
