When they asked Tarek what he thought of Christina divorcing, he said it was sad but that was it.  He talks to her about their kids and didn’t want to know about anything else.  With that said, I don’t think they’ll get back together. He seems very happy and it took him awhile to get there.

Not surprising. She seems 'difficult' to me.  On the new show, she was catering to the kids to the nth degree, while complaining constantly about being overwhelmed and exhausted. Duh, if you're exhausted, maybe the kids don't need homemade pancakes for breakfast!  I predicted this marriage wouldn't last...  This is the 2nd time she has a baby and pulls the plug on the marriage right after. Unrealistic expectations perhaps?

I just read on Yahoo, that Ant wants to try to save the marriage, but Christina does not. She said she saw enough in those two years to know she wants out!

That is sad........I wonder what he did??I feel really bad for the children, especially their little boy, because if Ant decides to go back to The U.K. it will be very difficult to be in that little boy's life.....

I hope Christina just stays single and gets her life together....Her children have been through enough!

@CANDLEQUEEN  I wonder if they tried marriage counseling? I think they should if they haven't. I read that Tarek said he wasn't surprised it didn't last. Of course who knows if it's true he said that.

@colliemom4 I agree, and it doesn't sound like they have tried counseling, but I agree they should! Some people just give up too easily when it comes to marriage.

@ID2  I do not feel one bit sorry for the self absorbed Christina. After the breakup with Tarek, he was  stated in a tv interview, after his cancer diagnosis ,she was never there for him, was not supportive of him, did not show up for him. While AI understand crisis, even medical problems can cause hardship in marriages, it sounded to me like she was only interested in herself. I am glad that they have been able to settle some differences and try to raise their children in an amicable manner.

I'm replying to a kind of old post, but I didn't see it before.  I just saw a show where Tarek proposed to his new girlfriend and was amused to see how similar she is to Christina.  He definitely has a type!
