I watched this movie for the first time tonight, and really enjoyed it!   I know it is several years old, but I had never seen it and so glad I did.  If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, takes place during the Civil War.  Stars Renee Zellwiger, Nicole Kidman, and Jude Law, excellent acting!

I viewed the film when it came out.  I also bought the Blue Ray.  The part that 'gets me' is that guy named Teague in the film.  Guys like that really bug me.  I've had males like that sort bother me in the past.  When Enmen shoots him, I feel a sense of relief every time.  Not nice, but neither was the character nor those men in my past.

I really liked that movie, too. I thought Philip Seymour Hoffman was a hoot and a half as Reverend Veasey. He was such a good actor, and gone way too soon.....a tragic loss, indeed.
