I saw the Lifetime movie w Marcia Gay Harden , so I was interested to see the real people. Creepy for sure . It is a 2 parter , how long is she in the clink for ?

@GinzTonic 10 years. I think she's up for parole in 2024. It is definitely a bizarre story to say the least!

The ID channel had a show about that case back in November, 2018..."Gypsy's Revenge". You might be able to watch it on-line, not sure. I think maybe Hulu has it, too. I thought the show was well done.

I never saw the interview on Dr. Phil. Was is worth watching?

@SilleeMee I just thought it was interesting because you get to see Gypsy and hear her talk about what happened. I'm not sure if she was in the ID channel special. Was she? I haven't seen any other shows about her story that I can recall.

She would win an Academy Award with the story she pulled off.

I had never heard of this story! Caught the last 15 minutes of Dr. Phil today - I'm recording tomorrow's show. But after Dr. Phil I immediately watched the HBO documentary on On Demand. Have to look for the ID program and the Marcia Gay Harden one. Hulu has a series on it currently - The Act with Patricia Arquette. I might have to get Hulu. Or maybe it will be on Netflix eventually. What a horrible woman the mother was. To do that to your own child not to mention scam everyone else.
