Blake Shelton popped the question and Gwen Stefani had a two-word answer ... YES PLEASE!!!

Gwen announced Tuesday she and the country star are engaged after nearly 5 years of dating. She shared a picture on her Instagram locking lips with Blake while holding up her hand and the ring on her finger.

Blake shared the same picture and captioned it, "Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!"

The "No Doubt" singer was also the one who announced their relationship back in November 2015 while they celebrated the CMAs in Nashville. They had co-starred as judges on "The Voice." Gwen, of course, filed for divorce from Gavin Rossdale in 2015 and finalized their divorce later that year. Shelton announced his split from Miranda Lambert in July 2015 and they too finalized their divorce that same year.

This will be Blake's third marriage -- he was also married to longtime GF Kaynette Gern for 3 years before their 2006 divorce -- and Gwen's second marriage. Congrats!!!

I am not usually into celebrities, but these two I like.  They seem to be down to earth, good people. 

I read that he said of Gwen, "She is the nicest, most kind person I have ever known."

I like both of them. Wishing them the best. I couldn't stand the guy Gwen was married to. The British one that cheated on her. He seemed like a jerk.

I think Blake has gone more hollywood than country and Gwen fits the bill at this time in his life.  They have a very interesting new home in the LA area with a quirky decor.

Blake is from my hometown in OK.  When he was in high school he sang for my Kiwanis Club Christmas party.  I was never that into country music, but I remember thinking he was really good and could go somewhere someday.  I never dreamed he'd have the success he has had.  Everything I've read about him says he's the same person he's always been and hasn't gone Hollywood.  He still seems down-to-earth to me, and the fact that he maintains a home in OK (I know the area he lives in well) says a lot.

I hope he and Gwen have found their lasting love and will always be happy together.  I wish them nothing but the best.

I'm a city slicker...but I love me some country music. I used to really enjoy Blake when he first came on the scene. Since he's gone Hollywood, I think he's changed. I don't enjoy him as I did. He got sucked into all that glitz and glamour. Give me a rough neck like Toby; tried and true!
