Great British Bake Off - Judges Served Food from the Floor

Did anyone else happen to catch this week's episode in which Freya, a vegan baker, dropped food on the floor, picked it up, baked it and served it to the judges to eat? How can you be so adamant about avoiding animal products, but willing to serve germ-infested bake goods to others? SMH!

I believe it. Many decades ago I worked at a 5 star hotel in the kitchen and if it fell on the floor it was picked us and served. Food that sat on the dining room tables for decorations often for days would often be scraped off of the decorations and served on Sunday buffet.

You never know how food is handled in a restaurant (has nothing to do with being vegan).

I didn't see that episode yet, but I can't believe it didn't bother the judges. I really like this show it is much more technical than American baking shows.
