for those who like American history, History Channel is hosting 3 night miniseries on President George Washington starting Sunday night, 8 p m  (check your listings for local details).

also they are re-running the older series "The Presidents,"  - starting with 1789-1825 and 1825-1849 beginning Presidents' Day.

I think I have seen that but I will watch again,

spouse is glued to Outlander marathons,  I don't get it at all

There is an interesting review of a new book about his final years in this week's Economist.  Never hear much about that period.

@jackthebear   DH and I have recently become obsessed with Outlander too!  We try to watch an episode each night.

Now I want to visit Scotland and do an Outlander tour.

I was getting ready to post about this and @ms traditional 's post came up as a suggestion. 

I can't wait to watch part 1 tonight! Cable moved The History Channel on me recently but I just found it again so I'm good to go.
