Sitting here munching on a snack of Cheerios while watching my recording of White Christmas, the Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney movie from 1954, when I suddenly noticed all the dark-haired young male dancers swirling around Rosemary in the number "Love, You Didn't Do Right by Me." Her character had returned to New York City (because she was angry with the Bing character) and was singing at the Carousel Club.
The head shape of one of the young men took my eye; I thought it a handsome and strong shape. Then the young man turned around and faced the camera, and I almost dropped my cereal bowl. "Is that George Chakiris?" I asked myself. That face! The cleft in his chin. Just had to be.
Went to my Google and sure enough, it was. Holy cow! All the times I've watched this movie I have never spotted George.

For the young ones, George went on to star in West Side Story.
