Left home early this morning to do some grocery shopping. One of the three Dollar Trees that I frequent had Spray Disinfectant. I hadn't seen any in the stores in my area for months and that includes WalMart, Target, Sam's, Walgreens, and all the multiple supermarkets. It doesn't take a lot to make me happy.

Back to GH - I just read that Nancy Grahn is supposed to be on The View to talk about Osteoporosis. Guess that's a hint for her upcoming storyline. It's on in my area now so I haven't missed her. Hope some of you see it also.

I am still leery of General Hospital Blog but they do seem to be more credible than they were.

Earlier this week, General Hospital Blog reported GH’s Nancy Lee Grahn, best known for her character, Alexis Davis, will be making a guest appearance on ABC’s The View, on Friday, September 18th.

General Hospital news reports Nancy announced she will be discussing awareness for Osteoporosis, focusing on the over 50 age group.

One would never guess, but, Nancy Lee Grahn is 64 years old! She address the importance of woman’s aging issues becoming more comfortable to discuss in our society. Be sure to check her out today on The View!

Could they have found a worse picture to  post of NLG?

@Wsmom  Cam said Dev was asexual. Dev was advising Cam to stop straddling the fence and pick one of the girls, Joss or Trina. Cam said something like "You don't get it. You're asexual."

@Tique @Wsmom   OMG, and I thought I looked like haites and then some after 2 emergency surgeries.  Oh, heck, where oh where and when would "they" find a worse pix of NLG and why oh why would anyone want their pix taken (like this) which could be posted and distributed world-wide.  I am in shock!!

@Tique Thank you for the heads up about spray disinfectant at Dollar Tree.  I will scout out those in my area.  Some have even had bleach before other stores.  Ya-hoo!

General thoughts about today's episode (Friday):  1)  The focus is on women's health, i.e. osteoporosis.  OK, good going GH.  Let's handle it in a way that women will/can relate.  Alexis looks like she has just been given a death sentence.  (Guess she is having difficulty with the "aging process".)

2)  And we know that after all the fisticuffs at the casino and the intervening of the WSB (who btw I do not trust either), Holly is alive....and yes, it's Emma Samms.

3) Rudge is going bye-bye to prison, the casino is being shut down, OH BUT who is holding Holly captive?  The obivious candidate is CASSANDRA, oh, but she is dead.  Oh, is she really???  Nah.............

Can't believe I almost let this slip by. This was another thing  I purposely waited to see if someone would mention...Last week when Cameron and Dev were talking about which of the females Cam liked, Cam made a statement to Dev saying he was asexual. I don't know where that came from but I thought it was a terrible/hurtful thing for Cam to say to a friend who had always tried to be supportive and who was being supportive then. I kept hoping there would be a followup scene with the two of them when Cam would realize he owed Dev an apology.

Am I the only one who had such a strong reaction to this scene?

@Tique  I thought it was mean too. I'm taking a break from the perpetually moribund Young and Restless, so have only been watching a few weeks, but that exchange stood out to me for some reason. Obviously, I'm still piecing together who these characters are and their relationships, and I wondered at the time if Dev is crushing on the other boy. He was so obviously hurt by the comment...

@stevieb  wow this is a surprise. Welcome!

A little history - Dev showed up in Port Charles a little over a year ago. He had helped Sonny when Sonny went to Turkey to find his son. Sonny moved him into his home and told everyone that Dev was his nephew. Dev lives in the same house as Josslyn, who is Sonny's step daughter. Cam and Trina were Joss's closest friends and Dev became the fourth person because their original fourth died a few months before Dev arrived. At one point Trina liked Dev but he told her he wasn't interested in her romantically. I think he likes Joss but out of respect to her mother and Sonny decided not to pursue that. He and Cam became fast friends. Dev has always tried to advise Cam when he has problems which is what was going on last week. You are right. Dev was hurt by that comment and Cam seemed to be clueless.

I hope GH isn't going to reveal that Dev is gay. They already tried to pursue something along those lines with a much younger child whom I would describe as sensitive and a little shy. He found something he was passionate about - baking - and they tried to make it seem like he was identifying as a female. They dropped that because the viewers didn't respond positively which isn't to say that they won't return to it at a later date.

While you're dipping your toe in the water and have questions or need some kind of clarification as to who is whom, just ask. This is a fun group.

Re: General Hospital ~ September 2020 ~ Spoilers Included

[ Edited ]

Thanks @Tique. I've tried GH on for size several times over the years, but it never 'took'. At this point, I'm sort of enjoying the show, probably primarily because it's all new and different to me while Y&R has become all retreads all the time... It could be that once I sort it all out, I'll determine the soap genre just no longer does it for me, but for now, I'll stick it out here for a while and with Bold and Beautiful... One downside for me with this soap is the whole international intrigue nonsense, which I see they're tuning up to tackle again with that whole silly sortie to Monte Carlo... Scorpio... Holly... and so on... When Olivia (I think) decided to bust in with that freaking Tommy gun I had to laugh out loud... Otherwise, I'm enjoying the characters, families and relationships...

GH Spoilers: Mourning, Medicine, And Mysteries

The General Hospital spoilers for the upcoming week tease a grieving Sonny, a whole bunch of guilty parties, and a whole host of exciting drama!

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Sonny continues to struggle with his grief in the wake of Mike's passing. He’ll get some comfort from Lulu and other members of his family – including sweet little Avery (fresh off her “glamping” adventure with Ava and Nikolas) – but the journey will still be an arduous one.

Sweet Charity

Everyone needs a little help now and then and the characters of GH are no exception. This week, Franco asks a big favor of Ava, a desperate Julian turns to Martin Grey, and Sasha reaches out to a secret someone.

GH Odds and Ends

In other Port Charles news, Cyrus asks Lulu to relay a message for him, Dante becomes agitated with his doctor, and Jason receives a troubling phone call.

Meanwhile, there’s plenty of people in town dealing with a guilty conscience. Molly is struggling to reconcile her love for T.J.and the one night stand she indulged in with Brando.

Jax is beginning to think that perhaps he shouldn’t have convinced Carly to lie about Nelle’s fate. Wonder how he reached that obvious decision. And Cameron feels conflicted over the love he feels for both Josslyn and Trina. Will he be able to follow Dev’s advice and choose one girl and let the other go?

Finally, Ned lets his temper get the best of him. What else is new? Valentin defends Alexis and Franco and Elizabeth fight over finances.
