Sam isn't the only one showing her chest. The other day Carly was hanging out all over the place. Bobby Spencer used to do that as well. I guess it's like the guys who are always in scenes with their shirts off.

PS and btw...who did Alexis's perfect french manicure in jail? Maybe it hasn't been that long...
Just wondering. The things I ponder while watching GH.
Carry on. š

GH thread family ROCKS! Milton as we know hit the west coast of Florida, but here on the east coast long before landfall we had in a 5 county area 119 tornadoes according to radar and eye witness reports. Unbelievable! Thank God and (all of you), I and my home were spared. Unfortunately, there was major damage to many communities up and down the east coast...some total devastation; homes/businesses wiped off the landscape. I know y'all join me in prayers for my fellow Floridians (and for those who were impacted by Hurricane Helene 2 weeks ago) who will need to regroup, recharge and rebuild. ššš

Watching On Demand: Yesterday................
Kristina: How many times can I slap this woman from here to Kingdom Come and she still is clueless?
Lucky: I, too, would like to see him (psssst writers) leave this "mini Luke" personna and pull up his big boy pants, get a life (and wash his hair) which includes his family, and go on to do rewarding work in PC (or at the very least in the United States).
And didn't Laura look very well rested after she and Kevin trotted around Africa looking for Lucky...LOL. Her family vacay served her well.
A senior citizen PI with a doggie in tow...now that says "undercover". True, many would just not even consider her a PI; just another older woman with a pet.
Your kiss, your kiss is on my lips.....OK Anna, thank you for telling Jason it was a one time thing; in the moment and will never happen again...yeah, right.
Sonny/Natalia talking: Oh give me a break!
Personally, I'm about ready for a long trip to visit the stables and feed Comet some carrots. I think a conversation with Comet would make more sense to me than some of the s/l's and convo coming out of the writers' room. Just sayin....

Who turned the gun in but wants/needs to remain unknown?
My first inclination was Cates himself. He'll do anything to get Sonny, albiet a bit far fetched, BUT far fetched and GH so often go hand in hand. Which I love! ā¤ļø
Second guess is Jack Brennan, as this little delivery is something not beyond his capabilities. The fair Carly will swoon if he smooths this debacle out somehow for her, as well as Alexis and Kristina.
Sonny might be on his own though, lol.

GH RECAP, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2024
Diane shows up at the warehouse to speak to Jason. She is out of options to save Alexis and needs him to convince Sonny to confess. Jason says he doesnāt have to, as Sonny has decided to turn himself in, and heās telling Carly right now. Jason thinks there must be a way to free Alexis without Sonny going down. Diane says the gun Alexis disposed of hasnāt been found, so there is nothing left to help her. Jason says this canāt be the end of Sonny, and he should have killed Cates when he had the chance.
Diana reminds him that Cates was a federal agent and even he wouldnāt have gotten away with killing him. Jason feels what happens to him isnāt as important as what happens to Sonny and Carly. Diane argues his sons would disagree. He says Danny and Jake are used to living without him. Diane understands why he took Cates āoriginal deal and it was noble of him, but his life is worth just as much as everyone elseās, so think about how his boys would react the next time he wants to sacrifice himself for someone else.
Sonny stops by Carlyās place, and she lets him know that Holly Sutton is looking for him. Also, sheās being trailed by someone. She explains she was followed to a dinner with Brennan, and she suspects Martin put a tail on her to prove Sonny is guilty. Sonny calls it a smart move, and says this has gotten out of control, so heās going to confess to killing Cates. Carly says as his alibi, sheāll go down with him. Sonny says there is no other way, and Carly realizes heās right.
Sonny tells Carly she wonāt go to prison and that he will have a plane ready for her and Donna to get to a country without an extradition agreement. Carly wonāt do that as heād never see Donna again. She also says Lucky isnāt a viable donor for Lulu, so she canāt leave her family now. She may be able to beat the charges against her, but he wonāt beat a murder charge. She knew what she was doing by helping him, and Cates was a danger to their family and kids, and now their kids are safe. He notes, āAll it cost them was her parents.ā
Sonny calls Diane, who is still with Jason. Sonny says heās with Carly, and they need to talk. Jason soon arrives. Sonny is still talking with Diane on the phone and tells her that she knows what to do. Sonny gets off the phone and lets Jason know that heās turning himself in and Diane is making a deal for him. Heās going to confess to killing Cates and everything else the feds want from him. Sonny will give them everything in exchange for ensuring only he goes down for Jaggerās death.
Martin visits Alexis late at night in Pentonville. He believes Jack Brennan may be the key to her salvation and explains heās a known playboy and was hosting a late-night date with Carly in his suite. However, Brennan seemed to catch on to his PI, which doesnāt shock Alexis, given heās a WSB agent. He has a picture of Brennan and Carly together, but Alexis thinks it isnāt enough to bust Carlyās alibi. He notes itās the only card they have to play to take attention off her and Kristina.
Martin reminds Alexis that she canāt help her children from a prison cell, and Carly will be out there free to entertain eligible bachelors while she sits behind bars. Alexis gives him permission to turn the photo over to the police.
In Annaās office, Kristina tells her that she has information on the night John Cates was killed. Anna warns her she should have a lawyer. Kristina appreciates her concern but knows what sheās doing. Anna asks where she was the night Cates was murdered. Kristina explains she was at her motherās house, but also went to her daughterās grave, however she went somewhere else. Anna knows she seemed confused when talking to Chase about whose car she drove that, and they know Alexis drove her car to the Quartermaines. Kristina says that is not true. Suddenly, Michael bursts in and tells Kristina not to say another word. Michael tells her she knows not to talk to the police without a lawyer and drags her out.
Later, Anna is on the phone discussing the case against Alexis with someone. Suddenly an alarm sounds, and Chase bursts in and says they need to evacuate because of a bomb threat.
Outside the station, Chase tells Anna that a package with a possible bomb, as detected by their dogs, was delivered and left in a blind spot so it wouldnāt be on their cameras. Whoever did this knew exactly what they were doing. Later, they learn the package was a false alarm and there is nothing explosive in it. Chase and Anna are given the package, a small rectangular box wrapped in brown paper. Chase suggests they open it.
Later, Martin shows up at the PCPD and tells Chase he has evidence he needs to give Anna that could help Alexis. Chase tells him to give it to the federal prosecutor.
Chase goes into Annaās office, and she opens the package. Inside is a nine millimeter gun, just like the one Alexis disposed of that could exonerate her.
Michael and Kristina go to the coffee house, and Michael admits he had Spinelli put tracking software on her phone to keep tabs on her. She canāt believe he is spying on her. She says she must help her mother, and they both know sheās going down for a crime their father committed. He warns her not to do anything impulsive. Kristina agrees to listen to him and keep quiet for now, but she will speak out if things change for her mom.
At the hospital, Liz checks on Dante, who is sitting with Lulu. Dante wants to make sure someone is with her as much as possible. He tells her that he promised Rocco theyād find Lulu a donor, but almost all her blood relatives arenāt a match, which means finding a stranger and convincing them to donate part of their liver. Liz promises the hospital will use every resource available to them to find Lulu a donor.
Olivia arrives as Liz is leaving Luluās room. The nurse lets Olivia know Dante needs her. Olivia learns Lucky isnāt viable, and they have to hope to find someone in time to save Lulu. Olivia says they will do more than hope. Olivia contacts Nina to get the word out about Lulu through Crimson, and she calls all her contacts in the old neighborhood. She says they are going to convince so many people to get tested to help save Lulu.
In the hospital chapel, Lucky prays for guidance when Laura appears. They embrace, and sheās so grateful heās home to help his sister. She asks if heās seen Aiden, and Lucky says he has and heās a good kid. He credits everything Aiden has become to Liz. Laura asks about his reunion with Liz, who was the one who told her that he was in here. He realizes Liz didnāt tell her, and heās sorry, but he canāt be Luluās donor.
Lucky explains his liver isnāt healthy enough, and itās due to a parasite he picked up somewhere in Africa. Lucky cries that he canāt make up for failing Lulu when she was a baby and being unable to save her then. Laura says heās not failing her, and he can give her his love and strength and convince her to pull through. Lucky says if that doesnāt work, then this is on him. If he hadnāt stayed away, if he hadnāt been in combat zones, then he wouldnāt have this parasite, and he could save his sister.
Laura says he is not to blame, as he had the right to live his own life. He knows he had responsibilities here and he still stayed away. She canāt argue with that, but he affected many lives around the world by helping save doctors and clinics. Lucky laments he canāt save the life that means the most. Laura says Lulu would not blame him. Laura always knew heād leave Port Charles, as he is so much like his father and was on the run with her and Luke for so many years, and itās in his blood. She flashes back to the Triple L, and how it exploded, and they were separated from him for weeks. However, she and Luke knew he could take care of himself, and though she knew he would eventually leave Port Charles to thrive, she also knew heād come back when he was needed the most.
Lucky wishes he could do something for Lulu. Laura says Nikolas was just as crushed that he couldnāt be a donor. She feels Nikolas felt helping Lulu could make up for his bad choices. Lucky understands wanting to make amends. Lucky wishes he had been here earlier for his mom to lean on, given all she went through. She embraces Lucky and thinks sheāll be leaning on him plenty in the next few weeks.
Laura tells Lucky that Luluās body is shutting down and time is not on her side. If they have to let her go, she wants him to hold her hand while she says goodbye. He promises he will, and she cries, āThank you!ā as they embrace again.
Next on General Hospital,
Anna asks Carly if she wanted to revise her statement.
Sonny yells, āHe had to be stopped!ā
Martin tells Alexis she should be out of prison by the end of the day.

Jonathan Jackson kicked off his return to General Hospital with his character, Lucky Spencer, far from home as he was being held hostage in Africa by Jenz Sidwell. The actor tells Digest that he had a good time with his reentry arc, saying, āI was just kind of in the moment of it and enjoying the process. I really loved working with everyone I was working with, so I wasnāt really overly anxious [to get into the Port Charles-based action] in any way. I knew it would happen; I knew it was coming. So I was just taking it as it came and it felt pretty natural. The length of everything felt just about right.ā
But now that Lucky is back in Port Charles, the actor is getting to share scenes with a whoās-who of castmates that were part of his earlier runs on the show.
The actor got his first taste of that when Lucky first interacted with Steve Burtonās Jason while he was still a prisoner. āSteve and I are pretty close friends, so weāve been in touch a lot over the years,ā Jackson notes. āIt wasnāt as much of a reunion for us as it was for the characters, really, because he and I have stayed in touch a lot. But it was really fun to get to work with him again and to act with him again. Itās great to have that kind of history and rapport with someone.ā
After Lucky saw Liz for the first time, he dropped in on Maurice Benardās Sonny. āThose scenes were really fun,ā reports Jackson. āI mean, Maurice is one of those people that, with him and I, it always feels like no time has passed.ā
And then, just when Lucky needed it most, his mother Laura, returned, signalling the end of Genie Francisās annual summer break from the show. āGetting to work with Genie again has been absolutely amazing,ā Jackson declares. āJust seeing her again was wonderful. It was such a joy. The idea and the thought of getting to work with Genie again was a huge part of the inspiration and the drive to come back to the show. When I was here in 2010 [after his original 1993-99 run], she wasnāt on the show. And Iād had such a great time working with Tony [Geary, ex-Luke] again, and I always felt like, āMan, I wish Genie was here. I would love to get to work with her at this stage in my life.ā And, yes, I did get to work with her very, very briefly when I was here for a couple of episodes [in 2015] when Tony was leaving, but it just wasnāt really enough. And itās been almost a decade since then!ā
The reunion has definitely lived up to Jacksonās high expectations. āGenie is just an amazing person and an incredible artist,ā he praises. āIt really has been such a joy working with her. Iām very grateful.ā
That goes for the rest of the cast that heās working with again after such a long gap. āThatās something that is so amazing about this medium and so unique,ā Jackson notes, āthat I get to work with not all, but many, of the same actors. Itās a very special thing.ā

@Laura14 Thank you so much for the Thursday recap...now I don't have to sit through the On Demand commercials.
Chase goes into Annaās office, and she opens the package. Inside is a nine millimeter gun, just like the one Alexis disposed of that could exonerate her.
Thoughts on the above: IF this planted gun is an exact copy of the gun Kristina took from Sonny's then it should have the same serial number etc. since it was legally registered to him. Therefore, I would suspect that Brick might have had a hand in this caper. OR is it supposed to be the actual gun?

@mysoutherncomfort that's a great idea about Brick planting the gun, certainly something he could do.
