GH RECAP MONDAY, OCTOBER 7th
Liz watches as Lucky approaches Aiden outside Luluās hospital room. She brings them to a meeting room for a private reunion. Alone, Lucky apologizes for not responding to Aidenās communications but assures him it wasnāt because he doesnāt care. Aiden had so much to tell him, but he didnāt want to say it in a video call or email. āDad,ā he hesitantly says, āIām gay.ā
When she comes to his office, Robert tells Diane that Hollyās in town. He assures her she is his present and Holly is his past. Heās sorry about the kiss with Holly last time and promises that wonāt happen again. Diane appreciates the transparency and assures him she has no doubts ā as long as her lips are the only ones his are on. They kiss.
As Holly talks on the phone about diamonds, someone knocks on her hotel room door. She stashes a diamond and opens the door to Brennan, who comes bearing champagne. He introduces himself as Port Charlesā WSB station chief. She doubly hides the diamond as Brennan pops the cork and asks about Sidwellās operation. Holly says she canāt help because Sidwell never talked about business with her. They briefly discuss Robert before Felicia stops by to find out what Hollyās been up to. Thatās exactly what Brennan wants to know.
Tracy comes to the Quartermaine kitchen, where Violet writes her weekly letter to her father. The little girl tells Tracy about punching the boy who called Finn a drunk. A sympathetic Tracy tells her that reacting violently is unacceptable. She advises Violet not to react at all the next time he taunts her because thatās exactly what the boy wants. Instead, she teaches Violet how to dismissively say, āI donāt have time for you,ā in French. She then steps out to sternly call her lawyer. Gio comes to the kitchen and commiserates with Violet over not being with their parents. An emotional Lois eavesdrops from around the corner. Tracy finds her and assures her sheās handled the issue with Violet.
Chase and Brook Lynn meet with Violetās principal in his office. He knows Violet is having a rough patch, but heās confident theyāll see her through it. They agree therapy is a good idea and to stay in communication. As the principal sees them out, he opens his door to Diane. She threatens to take legal action should Violetās one indiscretion be held against her. Knowing Tracy sent her, Chase and Brook Lynn take Diane aside to tell her theyāve handled it.
A sentimental Lucas comes to Bobbieās, quickly followed by Willow and Wiley. Lucas and Willow exchange pleasantries before Wiley excitedly meets his Great Uncle Lucas. As they arrive, Maxie happily welcomes Lucas home, and Michael gives him an awkward hug. After more stilted pleasantries, Lucas makes excuses and leaves. Maxie follows him out.
As Wiley wears headphones at a table, Michael and Willow discuss Lucas. Michael knows he made it easy for them with Wiley when he didnāt have to. Willow says the same thing about Michael. Sheās a mom, and she owes it all to him. They get Wileyās attention and tell him how he once lived with Uncle Lucas, who took care of him. Unfazed, Wiley runs off, ready for their day on a boat.
Maxie finds Lucas at Bobbieās grave. He gushes about Wiley, thrilled with how happy he seems. It was hard for him, but he knew Michael would give him a wonderful life. Now, heāll just rock the uncle role. When he asks about her, Maxie says sheās back with Spinelli, assuring him sheās very happy. Thatās all heās ever wanted for her. She reciprocates the sentiment and asks about his personal life. He begs her not to try and set him up or push him toward a relationship. She sort of but not really agrees.
In Hollyās hotel room, Brennan tells her to contact him with anything she might remember and leaves. As the women catch up, Holly tells Felicia she fears seeing Robert again after last time. Also, Macās disapproval is keeping her from reaching out. Felicia urges her to find a way forward with Robert; sheāll handle Mac.
At the hospital, Lucky takes a minute to process Aidenās declaration. Finally, he says, āIām your father, and I love you without exception.ā Heās sorry if Aidenās ever questioned that but assures him nothing will change the way he feels about him. Tears well in both their eyes as they embrace. Later, as Aiden tells his father about his baking business, Lucky is reminded of Luke, who would think thatās pretty cool.
After more reassurances from the principal about Violet, Brook Lynn and Chase return home. They tell Violet the principal believes in her, but she has to apologize to the boy at school and sheās suspended for the rest of the week. Brook Lynn also snarks at her Granny for sending in Diane.
Holly nervously comes to Robertās office. āItās about time you showed up,ā he says. āYouāve been waiting for me?ā she asks. āAll my life,ā he responds.
As Liz worries to Terry at the hospital about Aiden and Lucky, she gets a call about Luckyās test results. She comes to the meeting room as Aiden marvels over all the places Luckyās been. Aiden gets up to meet a friend, and Lucky promises he wonāt leave Port Charles without seeing him first. Once the teen is gone, Elizabeth tells Lucky heās not a viable match for Lulu.
Next in General Hospital,
Lucky explodes in Bobbie's, and Dante angrily tells Rocco, āItās not happening. I wonāt let it.ā

First and foremost: Sending prayers to all my fellow Floridians who are in the path of Hurricane Milton. May God keep y'all safe!!
I may need some help this week in negotiating GH S/L's in that our local ABC affiliate is pre-empting shows in order to do continuous hurricane information. I will endeavor to catch up on today, tomorrow and Thursday shows On Demand; possibly Friday also (if the power/internet stays on). LOL
I have left off with yesterday's episode (Monday).

GH RECAP, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8th
At the hospital, Liz explains to Lucky that his liver enzymes are elevated, and heās incapable of donating his liver as it could actually kill Lulu. He says the results must be wrong. She tells him the lab double-checked it, and somewhere in the world, he picked up a parasite that affected his liver. He asks for a shot or a pill to fix it, but she tells him it would take time that they donāt have. Lucky beats himself up for staying away as long as he did, and now he canāt help his sister.
Lucky goes and sits by Luluās bedside. He tells her that he tried and heās so sorry. He takes her hand and laments that he canāt save her. He tells her that sheās always been a fighter, so she needs to fight and hang on until they find her a donor.
Rocco arrives and recognizes his Uncle Lucky from photos. Lucky says heās grown, but he still has his motherās eyes. Rocco asks why he was talking about a donor. Isnāt he going to save his mom? Dante shows up, hugs Lucky, and says he got here just in time. He sees the look on Luckyās face, and Lucky breaks the bad news about his liver. Frustrated that his mom may die, Rocco runs off, and Dante chases after him.
Sam visits her mom in prison, and Alexis asks how the search for the gun is going. Sam explains both she and the PCPD have searched for the weapon, but havenāt found it. She says the PCPD will do another dive, and she will too. Alexis tells her not to, as she needs to focus on keeping her sisters from going after one another. She asks Sam to make sure Kristina doesnāt do something that will sink them both. Sam worries that Molly, in attempting to save her, may also make things worse. Alexis says that canāt happen, and Sam needs to make Kristina believe sheās innocent and will get out. Sam will try but isnāt sure she believes it at this point.
Later, Martin visits with Alexis. He explains heās hired an investigator to follow Carly. She asks what Carly has to do with any of this. He says Carly lied and gave Sonny an alibi to protect him, so he needs to blow up their alibi. He says the whole town is talking about Carly and Sonny, and the other night, she left a dinner date with him, and he finished the night with Natalia Ramirez. Martin says if he can bust their alibi, the PCPD will focus on them. Martin says that will lead to her release, and she can focus on keeping Kristina quiet. Alexis agrees to let him go for it but just hopes Kristina doesnāt do something to save her father.
At the Metro Court, Lucas tells Carly that he visited Momās grave and stopped by Bobbieās, which looks great. He admits he ran into Willow and Wiley there. He says Wiley doesnāt remember the chaotic start to his life, and distance has helped him heal and move on. They sit down, and Carly says Wiley is doing well. Lucas says heās grown so much. Carly tells him that if he needs anything, that sheās here for him.
At a table, Mac rants to Felicia about Holly and that he told her to stay away from Robert. Felicia says she told Holly the exact opposite. He canāt believe she did that, as Holly has a habit of breaking Robertās heart, and he doesnāt want her messing things up for him and Diane. Felicia says if they want to be together, there is no stopping them. Mac vents that Holly is no good for Robert and they both know it.
Felicia spots a fellow PI across the restaurant, who was her competition back in the day. She is sitting at a table with her little dog. Mac excuses himself to check on Robert, and Felicia goes over to welcome Lucas home. She congratulates him on becoming a surgeon and wants to have him over for dinner soon.
Felicia goes to head out, and PI follows her. She asks Felicia who the tasty new man with Carly is, as she heard Carly was back with Sonny. Felicia says that is Carlyās brother, Lucas. Felicia wonders if Carly is part of a case sheās working on. The woman says if she was working on a case, she wouldnāt tell her. The woman tells Felicia to take care and walks off.
Meanwhile, Lucas tells Carly that Brad is working at the lab again. She offers to have the board fire Brad, but Lucas says he talked to Brad and made sure he knows they are over. Carly worries as Brad is going to try to get Lucas back. Lucas says heād rather talk about her getting back with her ex.
Sam arrives at the hospital as Dante chases Rocco down. Sam heard the news from Liz, and they sit down to talk about it. Rocco feels like heās going to lose his mom, but Dante says he wonāt let that happen. Dante and Sam say someone out there is a match for Roccoās mother, and they will find that person.
Holly stops by Robertās office. He understands sheās been busy. Holly assumes he wants to hear about her dramatic escape and bringing Lucky home. Robert wants to know what sheās doing messed up with Sidwell. She says a girl has to make a living, and everything was going well until Lucky, Anna and Jason got taken hostage by Sidwell. Holly asks about Diane, and Robert says she is fine and they are happy. He asks how long sheās sticking around this time.
Suddenly, Mac charges in to speak to Robert. He claims itās PCPD business, so Holly leaves them. Alone, Mac says he wonāt let his brother get sucked back into Hollyās vortex. Mac tells him that he and Holly and fundamentally incompatible. Robert says he has no intention of reuniting with Holly, and he is happy with Diane. Mac is relieved.
Holly heads to the Metro Court and over the phone, she gets bad news. Her buyer has backed out. She spots Carly, and says hello to her. She was hoping to get some time with her man, swearing itās strictly business. Carly asks, āMy man?ā As the PI watches and listens nearby, Holly asks, āArenāt you and Sonny back together?ā Carly says she and Sonny never discuss business and tells her to just go to Pozzuloās as heās probably there.
Anna drops by Brennanās office, and he needs a report on what happened in Somalia. Jason arrives, as he was summoned as well. Brennan wants to know everything that happened. They sit down, and Anna details what happened. She says his drone strike saved their lives, and she thanks him.
As Jason and Anna are about to depart, Brennan asks Anna to stay for a bit longer. He asks Anna why she didnāt take Sidwell out. She explains that wasnāt her mission. He then asks whatās going on with her and Jason. He is shocked she trusted a civilian to work with her. Anna says heās a very competent man and reminds him that he tried to recruit Jason. Brennan says he still wants Jason to work for him, and he wants Anna to convince him to. Anna refuses, and she says the WSB ruins peopleās lives, so she wonāt let that happen to Jason, who just got out from under the FBI. She declares Jason is done and storms out.
Brennan later calls Carly and asks her out to dinner for that very night.
Anna arrives at the warehouse where Jason is. She asks, āAre we ever going to talk about that kiss?ā
Next on General Hospital,
Dex questions Joss about the mess at Bobbie's.
Felicia warns Carly that sheās being tailed.
Lucky wants to return to Africa.

Soap Opera Digest: How would you describe what Aidenās frame of mind was at the idea of seeing his dad again after such a long gap in communication?
Colin Cassidy: Itās a huge deal and an incredible moment. For Aiden personally, itās huge to see his dad again after not hearing from him in so long. And obviously, heās got something weighing on his chest that he wants to talk to him about, and so thereās a whole storm of emotions about seeing his dad. Heās scared, excited, heās anxious. But thereās also just a huge love there, where he just wants to see his dad and he wants to work things out even though their relationship has been a little rocky and a little all over the place for so long. He really does want a relationship with his dad.
Digest: When Aiden came out to his mom, Elizabeth, it was in a very low-key way, and all he has known to this point is a parent who is accepting, where their relationship doesnāt change once Aiden comes out. But clearly, he had some butterflies about whether Lucky would be as accepting.
Cassidy: Totally. And I think thatās a really common feeling for anyone in that situation. I did a lot of research, and talked to friends about it and looked up some videos on YouTube, and itās never an easy feeling, even if you know that this person loves you and cares for you. Youāre putting yourself out there in a way where you donāt really know how someone is going to react, and thatās a huge fear for a lot of people. I really wanted to get that right and portray that right because thatās such a leap of faith, to put yourself out there and just hope that the love is still there and that youāre not going to be treated differently. And thatās definitely a huge fear that Aidan has going into this conversation with his dad, along with so many other feelings.
Digest: I think the audience has a lot of built-in affection for Aiden, since viewers saw Elizabeth raise him, saw him grow up on screen. But for some viewers, that connection will run deeper, as they will likely be able to see themselves in his journey of navigating his identity as a young gay man.
Cassidy: I think itās incredibly important to have, number one, just a character that you can relate to, and just to have that representation on screen. And maybe [Aidenās story] will give someone the strength to come out to their own family, help them get the courage to do that incredibly hard thing. I also think itās super-important to have that kind of character on a show like this, which has been going on for so long.
Digest: These were your first scenes with your on-screen dad, Jonathan Jackson. What was it like to work on the material with him?
Cassidy: Jonathan was incredible. It was on my second day of filming, and having such a big, heavy scene and having him there to guide me through that was imperative because I donāt know how I would have done it without a professional like him. He made sure we put extra time aside and went over it together before filming. We really worked through it and talked about it, and worked out the moments and everything. He really guided me through the entire thing. Itās an honor to be working with professionals like Rebecca Herbst [Elizabeth] and Jonathan, who know what theyāre doing and can get into character so quickly and create these amazing moments and emotions. Iād like to say that as an actor, I can get there, but I know itās not possible without these people helping me and driving it to a level that Iām just not at yet. So I thank them for that.
Digest: Were you nervous about the scenes when it was time to shoot them?
Cassidy: You know, thereās always nerves; I donāt know if that will ever go away. But I felt a lot of excitement, too. I feel very grateful to be coming on to the show and immediately having such deep emotional scenes. Itās amazing! I wouldnāt want it any other way. And yeah, itās a big task and it can be nerve-wracking or overwhelming, but thatās kind of the emotion that Aiden is feeling, so it works.
Digest: So, in the scenes, Lucky responds really well; he makes it clear to Aiden that he loves him unconditionally. How would you describe what that means to your character, to hear Lucky say those words?
Cassidy: Aiden literally says, āI feel like I can breathe now.ā And when I was asking around and hearing other peopleās stories [of coming out to a loved one], that was the consensus: that itās an incredible relief. Even if it doesnāt go as good as it possibly can, a lot of people feel like itās just an amazing release to get it off their chest. And when it goes well, itās got to be one of the best feelings in the world. You feel like you can be yourself, you feel like you are accepted for who you are, fully, youāre loved, and thatās all that matters. And I think with Aiden and Lucky, it does go as well as it possibly could. Itās kind of a new start to an amazing, beautiful relationship. And I think youāll see in the following episodes that Aiden feels more comfortable with his dad. Thereās a certain level of love there thatās different after [Luckyās] acceptance.

Regarding Maura West, I though it was reported that she had asked to leave the role of Ava and move on. Is she or isn't she leaving GH?
