Happy November Sweeps!

It has been one year since Gladys found out Baby Bailey was not Valentin's daughter. Additional things that happened last November:

• Jason agreed to accompany Britt to Cassadine Island to find her mother, Liesl Obrecht.
  

•  Peter was finally captured after Drew and Jason along with Robert and Anna teamed up to outsmart him and his cohorts including Victor Cassadine.
  

•  Unscrupulous Gladys used her cell phone to record a private conversation between Brook Lynn and Maxie. After hearing Maxie state Valentin was not Bailey's father Gladys threatened to tell the truth to "my friend Valentin".

• Sasha gave birth to her and Brando's son who they named Liam Michael Corbin.

• A new but not improved Drew returned to Port Charles on Thanksgiving Day and had to tell his family and friends that although he was alive his twin brother Jason was not.
  

Since the beginning of the October  thread:

• Brando's friends and family said farewell to him.
  

• Diane had surgery and remained in General Hospital to recuperate from her attack. When she was able to communicate she told Robert her attacker had been a woman.
  

• Esme resurfaced and reconnected with Daddy Ryan. She then went to Wyndemere to rob the Cassadine safe but got caught by the man she's claiming is the father of whatever she's carrying.
  

• While traveling to a conference Carly was detained and decided to staying in Jacksonville where she confronted an old enemy and came to terms with her past. She was later joined by Drew and her mother, Bobbie.
  

• In her tedious on again, off again storyline Elizabeth recalled seeing a woman lying at the bottom of a stairwell. Miraculously less than an hour later she saw an image of the same woman on Finn's phone and was told it was his late wife, Reiko.

How do you read the monthly thread:

1. Do you read most/all replies;
2. Do you read the last one or two posts before you comment; OR
3. Do you avoid reading other posts unless something is directed to you?

If the question does not appeal to you no explanation is necessary.

My answer: I read every post although not all get the same amount of  attention. Some feel so strongly about certain characters that their replies are almost always the same when they discuss those characters so I skim those. Other posts are well thought out and without a lot of repetition. From me they get a more thorough reading.

I enjoy reading the thoughts of those who are not as entrenched in the history of GH. They tend to see more of the positives which at this point I for one need.

Since this is the month for Thanksgiving let me acknowledge how grateful I am we have this little piece of a huge pie where we can convene. Thank you to those who come here to read, to post, to enlighten, to share whatever is good and positive that is gong on in your life, to encourage those who are facing challenges whatever they may be, to share information, to celebrate birthdays, to stir things up, to rant, to rave, to vent, and to ask/answer questions.

This is also a month of reflection. We remember two of our friends Preds and CLHS68. Though they are no longer physically here their words are. One more thing for which to be grateful.🦋

GH Spoilers: What Secrets Will Liz Learn From Her Parents?

GH spoilers for Tuesday reveal family secrets, legal woes, escape attempts, and so much more.

Elizabeth Is Stunned

After 25 years, Elizabeth Webber finally has a chance to confront her parents for abandoning her to the neighbors when she was 15 and never looking back. However, she made the journey to Monterey for more than that. She wants to know what really happened in that stairwell and why she is blocking much of it out.

Jeff Webber and Carolyn Webber are finally forced to tell their daughter the truth and it’s a truth that leaves Liz absolutely shocked. Will she start to see her parents differently or will she still resent them for a lifetime of heartache while feeling unloved?

Valentin Gets The Help He Needs

Valentin Cassadine never expected Laura Collins to be the one to help him escape from Victor Cassadine’s latest goon, but there she is more ready to help her granddaughter than him.

While Valentin calls it divine intervention since Laura is dressed as a nun in a church, Laura just looks angry and exasperated. Has she figured out that Valentin is the one who set Lesley Webber’s house ablaze? This is an unlikely alliance indeed, but they both love Anna Devane and Charlotte Cassadine, so they are ready to partner up.

Back in Port Charles, Anna languishes in her jail cell, but ex-fiancé Hamilton Finn stops by for a chat as Anna explains that her situation looks grim. At least he was able to control himself and didn’t take the first plane to rescue Liz.

Carly and Drew’s World

Carly Spencer and Sam McCall spend some time catching up now that Carly is back from Florida and Sam is curious why Carly refuses to mention Drew Cain at all. Carly remains coy about her relationship situation, but Sam wants her to spill.

Meanwhile, Drew pays a visit to Alexis Davis, and it doesn’t look like it’s about journalism. He seems to want legal advice, and we have to wonder if this has anything to do with the mention of insider trading Ned Quartermaine made last week. Does Drew finally realize that’s exactly what he and Carly engaged in with the failed ELQ-Aurora merger?

To answer your question:

I read each day and tend to read all  currant comments before i make a  comment.

"but" i don't go back to first of month to see if i missed anything added new!

Anyone know when this hook story will end and who is doing it???

QOTM I read every post. A lot of times I start out at the last post and read backwards until I get to the last post that I remember reading the previous time that I was on the site. I like to see everyone's point of view.

I also try to heart every post whether I agree or not because I appreciate everyone's point of view and the fact that they took the time to share their opinion. I really like reading what everyone has to say.
