@redwingsgal  I would never throw anything at you but kisses.💋  I'm sooo tired of them bringing back and changing roles of actors gone by. That's because the writing is terrible. I would have used some expletive  language but I don't want to be poofed.

I've said before, actors gone by should be rehired. More employed the better. The way I see it, the problem comes in with bringing anyone new or old back, is due to the fact that there are so many unfinished storylines. Another problem is, the writers (and I use the term extremely loosely) change history, which is unnecessary and uncalled for. 

These writers shouldn't be writing for a soap. They'd be lucky if they were hired to write a Kindergarten skit and that's being generous to them. They should only be writing in their personal daily journals. Then no one else would be subjected to their blubbering.

Ive been taping GH and watching every week or so, by fast forwarding most of the show. It's getting harder and harder to watch. It's getting easier and easier to break my habit and stop watching all together. I feel, at this point, complaining is useless. There's a saying, " Put up or shut up". I'm just about ready to shut up. I think the New Year will be it for me. I've spent almost all of my life with GH, now I think it's time to move on.

Since Covid, there are an unusual amount of homeless people, walking all around the city.  I give some of the store owners that I know, money to feed some of the homeless. I feel better for it. I have so much to be thankful for, it's my way of giving back besides giving money to charities. Remember, giving to others in some way or another, is giving peace and love to yourself. 

Thank you my friends for making GH a better soap by just being here. You've made me laugh, you've made me sad but most of all, you've made me excited to come here and read your posts. In good times and bad.

I also like Trevor St. John fine...I will just have to adjust to two Todds on the same show.  :-)

And recycling the actors from soap to soap has never bothered me.

I admire the recent choice to promote the photo book and the cause. Unfortunately, nothing else about recent shows has been particularly compelling.

Anna and Robert are simply no longer believable as 'top agents' and were I Valentin, I'd move heaven and earth to beseech the producers to distance my character from both of them. At one time I thought he and Anna together could be interesting, but sorry, the only way Anna can ever be interesting is if they drop this ridiculous pretense that she's still at the top of her espionage game. In fact, the sooner they realize this whole spy game nonsense has run its course and is poorly done to the point of being one huge eye roll, the better off this show and its viewers will be.

Now, we read they want to bring this one back and that one back and the other one back... Why? To try to distract us from the fact that they simply can't write good story? The prospect alone of returning Brad is enough to make me want to forget I ever watched this show, for heaven's sake.

I could go on to discuss any number of other witless characters and stories but I believe I've made my point. The show is no longer running on empty, it's running on vapors.

The thing is, originally the WSB was a "truth, justice, and the American Way," type counter espionage organization. There were no bad buys within the organization. Now we are finding out, courtesy of the writers, that many arch villains were a part of that group. The kind of things they were doing are similar to some weird torture, mind control, Hitlerian experimentation. No wonder Anna and Robert no longer fit in. And how is it that Valentine, a Cassadine, or Liesl, a comrade of Faison ended up working those experiments? It's almost a prototype of exactly what is happening in real time now in the USA.

And on a side note, why are these characters insisting that Sonny isn't Mike. Perhaps he's not the Mike in Nixon Falls, but have these idiots forgotten that Sonny's given name is Michael, which is why Carly named her son Michael? Now they seem to be saying that only Sonny's father is Mike. It's a small detail, but it annoys me.

Carly's behavior today is a perfect example of why I loathe this character. I don't really care one way or the other about Sonny the Gangster, but I actually hope he runs off with the pathetic Nina and kicks Carly to the curb. She deserves it and has deserved much more. It's been a long time coming. Meanwhile, Carly is going to drive a wedge between Michael and Willow with her butting in, not that that would be a bad thing since they are both boring. Somebody here mentioned that Phyllis has Carly pretty well sized up, and I agree that she does.

After watching today I am concerned about Sasha's baby.  Would these writers be so cruel as to have something happen to the baby????  

Gladys needs to be squashed like the parasite she is.  The woman is counting on Valentin rewarding her for her meddling.  

Carly is playing right into Nina's hands.  Nina becomes the victim and revels in it.  My guess, Sonny and Carly wind up separating because Sonny hasn't been honest about Nina.  And, while he continues to try to shield Nina, Carly is bound to figure it out.

Please, someone, anyone, PLEASE eliminate Peter!!!!
