No, Jason is NOT Monica's son.  He is the child of Alan and his lover Susan Moore. Monica took him in as her own and raised him as her son (Susan died)

So, Jason is a Quartermaine, but not related to Monica.

    It does seem like he is just "phoning in" his lines!!  He certainly does not show much emotion!!  Maybe he is looking around for another job/character in some other show.

   There is that story floating around that this Jason is not the real Jason. Helena's involvement again. Another Jason - supposedly the real one  - is coming and then we find out that this current guy is someone else!!!  This story is getting too convoluted...just in time for May sweeps!!
