It has been one year since Sonny and Carly divorced and Sonny moved on with his consolation prize  piece, Nina.

Since the beginning of the February thread:

• A memorial was held at the hospital for Dr. Britt Westbourne.

• Esme continued to show a softer, kinder, gentler side of herself. After being sentenced to a stint in Spring Ride Esme was befriended by Heather who unbeknown to Esme [at the time] is her biological Mother. So they say.
  

• Portia and Curtis got married on Valentine's Day but not without a few hiccups. One of the hiccups is named Stella.
  

• Ava hit Nikolas over the head after he said he would take her only remaining child away from her. Looks like she killed him although most expect him to resurface when Port Charles finds an appropriate replacement for the character.
  

• The newly formed family consisting of Ryan, Heather, and Esme escaped from Spring Ridge and promptly headed to Wyndemere. One family member left in a body bag.

Happy March everyone! Hope that the new month brings good things to all of you. I think of you all often, even when I don't post.

My brother continues to heal but had a bit of a setback over the past week. We saw the pulmonary specialist yesterday and thank goodness she's so great. She prescribed antibiotics and an inhaler to try and deal with the congestion that he has developed (just what a person who had surgery on their lungs needs, right?) We did 3 doctor's appointments yesterday (including the pulmonary doctor). I knew that it would be a taxing day for him and I wasn't wrong. By the time we got home last night he was pretty much out of energy. Please keep praying for us.

For me the most memorable part of sweeps was watching the maturing of Spencer. I finally see why they found it necessary to recast the role and I am happy to see that Nicholas Chavez has really grown into the part. Now I look forward to seeing him in scenes, no matter who he is with, I think he can hold his own.

For me the jury is still out on his pairing with Trina, I'll continue to watch to see how the pairing works and if there is any chemistry. I know she looks at him with her heart in her eyes (which she is pretty good at), but I'm not sure that I feel a spark between them.

I hope and pray that Ryan stays dead.

I thought the decorations for the wedding (though not exactly my taste) were very beautiful and elegant looking with all the white flowers. It gave the venue a very icy winter effect-which I guess is how the wedding turned out after all.

I can't think of anything that really surprised me right now, perhaps I will later. I am glad that a few stories wrapped up at least. I'm interested to see what transpires with Esme going forward.

And please someone match Willow for a marrow donation.

They are really taking this story line down to the wire and I don't like to see a young woman who can't even enjoy her newborn baby because she is so weak and sick.

I can't believe it's already March!

QOM:  Favorite or memorable scene..Heather in general.  I just really enjoyed her and think Alley Mills has done a great job with the role.   I loved when she told Laura they could be gammies together.

Event that surprised me...that they actually wrapped up any storyline!   Well, as far as they have anyway.
