Re: General Hospital šŸ„ June 2024 - Spoilers Included

So Carly is going to do what Carly wants to do despite what she's been told. She can't undo the two years or more of Jason's life he gave just for her, but her guilt tells her to meddle with it anyway. That's Carly. You can't tell her anything, but what she thinks she knows better. She didn't put up much of a fuss about what Drew gave up when he took the wrap for the insider trading to "save" her either. She doesn't even deserve to be saved. Never has. If all these people involved in the whole thing aren't careful, they are ALL going to end up in prison along with the original person they are trying to get. And you know what? They will ALL deserve it. Carly, Sam, Valentine, Brennan, Jason, Drew, Sonny, Spinelli, Cates, Pikeman Corp, etc.

@RainCityWoman , I agree with how you feel about Carly but I think we are the only two who feel that way.

I just hope they aren't going to try to make Carly and Jason some sort of super couple.  I see zero romantic chemistry between them.   Great friends but that's it.

Sam is another one who just does what she wants.  Clearly she and MB go to the same acting coach...say two words and wait for us to feed you the rest of the sentence....

How many people now know what Spinelli did.   Next they will be talking about it in the GH halls.

Yes, I know I am one of the few who does not admire anything about Carly. Never have liked her, especially when Sarah Brown, the original Carly played her. That's when Jason covered for her the first time by pretending Michael was his. And yes, Sam is another one who has her own set of rules, though she hasn't done as many despicable things as Carly has. Wonder how both of them are going to screw up this whole FBI thing and make it worse for everyone. As to your last statement: there ARE no secrets in Port Charles.

Iā€™ve loathed the character of Carly for years. I only liked Carly in the very early Sarah Brown years (the pre-Scummy days). Why she had been the lead female character all these decades I will never understand.

I have to give props to the writers after dragging them (rightly) for months. The Finn storyline (other than the small tidbit that he's not an alcoholic that they tried to correct) is very well done. Of course, I could have waved goodbye to Violet as easily as Finn. True and true.  However, with Finn smashing the 2 bottles of vodka, it seems we may be waving "buh bye" as he speaks to Chase (tomorrow's scene) and trots off to rehab?  Maybe a hug and proper goodbye with Violet?  I truly do hope so.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, so the writers (and I had to get a little tough with them) followed my advice and will give Finn and Violet their moment together before Finn/ME exits the show.  With ME leaving GH (and not for just 90 days), I will venture forth that Chase/BLQ become the legal, permanent guardians of Violet.  As BLQ said today to Tracy "....it's good experience for when we have a family of our own..."  Nothin' says lovin' as a 9 year old daughter.

Guess we have to wait and see just how they write Finn out permanently.

Supposedly addictive personalities are easily hooked on whatever will numb their reality. Drugs, alcohol....they are all in the same category to the person who depends on them. It is never suggested in rehab that one substitutes one dependency with another one.  It seemed to happen fast, but maybe it didn't and we weren't privy to it. Or, the loss of the father and the guilt he felt set it all into motion. I just hope it's a clean goodbye and he doesn't try to kidnap Violet. That being said, I am not thrilled at a continuation of the Violet character. For some reason, she annoys me, and I feel ashamed about it, but can't kick the feeling.

@RainCityWoman She annoys the heck out of me too.  But I am not ashamed about it, lol.
