So is anyone else buying this rewrite of oops! Finn isn't an alcoholic, but let's explain that so it makes sense anyway?

You know, I think GH really misses the boat on Nina. She is the reason Willow has a birthday. She's not even in frame for the major scene. No reaction shot. I think this is the first birthday party for either of her daughters she has attended. 

Remember the character. She did nothing to be separated from her children and, other sins aside, she has never directed her ill will at her kids unlike several others standing there. 

And spare me the politics. I watch this show to escape the nonsense. Stop bringing it into my entertainment or FF will be my new best friend.

Just saw on my local ABC station that John J York will return this Wed after battling and winning against two forms of cancer. WTG John

Finn:  Is he or isn't he an alcoholic?  Is he drinking heavily?  Yes.  Has it been over 2 days, so far? Yes. So what really does this mean? So here is a simple solution for the near term allowing him to practice medicine at GH.

Portia knows about Finn's decline into "the bottle" since Gregory's death for 2 days while on bereavement leave.  Elizabeth said "suggested?" to Portia that she asks him to seek rehab.  I say that Co-COS, Portia, bring Finn to her office and level with him and at that time ask for a blood sample and urine test to determine IF any alcohol/drugs is in his system before he sees patients. 

If YES...cannot practice medicine at GH until/unless he seeks rehab.....IF no, ok for that day and can be repeated and repeated on a daily basis, as needed.  My guess is eventually Finn would get sick and tired on having to be tested and either stop drinking, seek rehab/AA.  Just a little s/l that I'm throwing out there with the pasta to see if it sticks to the walls.

The bottom line all comes down to Violet.  SO FAR, Violet is OK.  And please, please writers let it be so.  No car accident; no harm to Violet; no daddy is asleep and I can't wake him up....let's just make this about Finn and his career as a doctor at GH and getting sober. Finn has enough people in his life for which he needs/will need to make amends; let's not have Violet as one of them.

Has anybody seen the game show Beat the Bridge with Mathison hosting? It's on the Game Show Network weeknights 6PM. He's doing a good job.

Honestly, he wasn't my cup of tea but I have grown to tolerate him on GH.

I think he's a better host than he is an actor.
