Florida is open! And as everyone knows (or at least some PR Dept's taute), our state is called "paradise". As a native south Floridian, I don't quite agree with that slogan, but if you want to shake a tail feather, hit the beach, boogy on down and enjoy the heat and humidity (which will become more extreme as the months go on). I still tend to be very careful and don't hang out in crowds. Just me, just sayin'.
As an aside and I've been meaning to share this: A radio newscaster has a news/crime podcast (white collar/blue collar/all types of crime) here in South Florida and calls us "the sunny place for shady people".

I am so happy to read all the happy you ladies are sharing.
I have thoughts on us not reaching the 70% before the 4th but won't share them. We've been off the radar since February. For me that's preferable.
@redwingsgal that sounds like a great team building event. I hope you're still partying and having a blast.
@Lipstickdiva so glad you're getting a break. Enjoy your Vacay. Let me know if shopping was one of the main events.
@Wiskota congratulations on your retirement. Major accomplishment nowadays to be able to stay at a job for 25+ years. And still love it.
@RainCityWoman enjoy your freedom. I think we're higher than Ohio but not as high as your state. I'm watching our local news and discovered that we are at 70% for all adults over the age of 18. Yay!!!
@mysoutherncomfort Roxy is always ready, willing, and able. Don't blame me for her choice of reading materials.
ETA: My state's vaccination rate is at a higher level than I thought so edited my earlier post. That makes me happy!

@stevieb I could be off track but "man-leech of a nurse" doesn't sound particularly complimentary. I remember predicting one day you would see the real Dear Sweet. Sounds like you are on your way. Hmmmm...

@Tique She. Will. Never. NEVER be forgiven for her part in Peter's take down and cover up, and there are plentiful further annoyances related to Lizzie... Among many others was her pointing a finger at Jason when she had no idea whether he had shot her worthless husband or not... And this is coming from someone who is no big fan of Jason's... I'd also note that reading through her history she frankly sounds like a tramp who's done at least half the male population of Port Charles...

@stevieb confession time. I REALLY want to re-post a conversation we had in April but I'm TRYING to rise and not wallow in the mud where I apparently want to be. Ooh it's hard....especially when it comes to Dear Sweet.
For you and your powers of detection...

@Tique Please dear, resist... Women mud wrastlin' is not a pretty look...

I can think of several on that show who would fit the description more than she does. She's not perfect, but others much worse get a pass and it seems she doesn't. I don't get it. I'll defend her if others won't. JMO.
