Some ruminations on my part:
Drew: Again, the writers are doing a complete 180 on the character. To paraphrase Curtis, what happened to the Drew who was my friend; I don't recognize you now. I have never been enamored with CM's performances, but at least his character was not morally reprehensible as is being written.
@Laura14 Hmmm, Jack with Carly in Germany. It's very magnanimous of you to "loan" him out to a friend in need. Extra shipment of olives coming your way as a bonus gift.
Monica: Has been mentioned more in the last 2 weeks then in almost 2 years. Yes, we all know about Leslie Charleston. I wonder IF Monica will pass in her sleep during February sweeps? Surely there is some "memorial" being planned.
Willow: MEH! BTW, with Wiley going to school and Amelia with the nanny and Michael in Germany, shouldn't she be doing something constructive...like working as a nurse at GH? Just a thought.
Cody: Two choices so far for romance...Molly (where exactly is TJ during this separation) or Lulu.
Liz/Lucky: The game is afoot. OK, whatever.
Joss: The game is afoot. OK, whatever.
Tai/Trina: IF anyone didn't see that his football career is over before it actually started, please contact me directly. Since he's on a sports scholarship, will he be able to finish his senior year at PCU? I'm all atwitter. Actually, I do like the friendship growing between he and Trina. I find it rather sweet that both are young and in college together.
Cyrus: Move it along, writers, move it along.
Martin/Tracy: I want more.
Sidwell: So far MEH! Perhaps as stated in another post, he may well resurrect Pikeman. Of course, he will use witless Lucy (in the sky with diamonds) as a pawn/foil.

Dex had told Cyrus that he saw him at GH on the day Sam died. Dex assumed Cyrus was there for Lulu, but he eventually could have made the Sam connection and Cyrus couldnāt take the chance.
Iām someone else who is sorry the turn the Cyrus character has taken, and I like the actor a lot. The hypocrisy of everyone in town (and these people donāt know about his actions the last few months) is mind-blowing.
I don't feel sorry for Cyrus. He hasn't taken a turn since he was a killer before and he still is. In fact, I seem to remember that he made some kind of deal with the female warden at the time to present as a reformed sinner who found God. It was phony from the very beginning.

Brick: Steven A. Smith...well who knew...no wonder he looked familiar to me, and why he's only occasionally on GH...he has a whole other career as an ESPN sport journalist, and has had more than a few tv/radio gigs.
Just happened to see him in a discussion with Andrew Cuomo & Bill O'Reilly on News Nation...I was like...wait? what? Isn't that Sonny's guy?! Googled, and sure enough. I mean, why him on this I don't know since he's an ESPN sport's guy and this was a political discussion...but interesting to see him there.
Ok well...everyone's out there in media doing what they can, where they can, wearing as many hats as they can, these days.

Carly to Michael: Hi, honey, it's mom. I'm so sorry to wake you up and I know you are in excruciating pain since you were in an explosion and your body is 40% burned. But, it's important in that Willow wants to send you to Johns Hopkins and I want you to go to a specialized burn unit in Germany. The doctor there did a fantastic job on Ava's face when she was burned and golly, you'd never know it. And once fully healed, well, I didn't want you to spend the rest of your life with burn scars. So, Michael, is it Johns Hopkins or Germany?
Michael to Carly: I understand and no problem about waking me up in excruciating pain because this is an important decision. Hmmm, Ava's doctor did a really great job on her burned face. And in thinking about it, I could really go for some good sauerbratten, so yes, let's send me off to Germany. Thanks mom for caring and if you don't mind, I would like to be put back under because I've used up my strength. Hope you will visit me in Germany. Love you mom.
Gee, since the writing is so stupid and way over the top, maybe, just maybe, Frank will see it my way. Naw, probably not!
@mysoutherncomfort š BRAVO! š This is so good!
BTW I attended Catholic HS in NYC, graduated in '79. We had several girls who became pregnant and remained in school almost til the point that it looked like they were hiding the School Team's basketball under their uniform.
At that time they were sent to "Our Lady of Spoon Island" where they spent the finally weeks of their pregnancy and returned to school about 2 or 3 months later, whether they kept their baby or gave it up for adoption. Enough time for the tongues to stop waggin'.
Sorta as long as Trina took to forget her boyfriends Rory and Spencer. š
Perhaps this is what happened to Brooklyn. š
I am loving Sidwell. I just wish he would have hit his target!
@Laura14 I hope he is a Cassadine as well, as we can never have enough Cassadine instigators in PC!

I donāt feel sorry for him - I never could feel sorry for a murderer and that is what he apparently is. I just wish they had not taken this turn to his character. And most of the other characters do not know what the audience does, but yet they still carry on like heās not fit to breathe the same air that killer/thugs/gangsters Scummy and Jason do. He got out of prison early yes, but still did more time than Scummy did for murdering AJ. I like the actor, and as Lauraās half-bro he could have remained a recurring character. But the show went another way
Well, this particular Soap, and possibly others that I don't watch, has taken the position that killers always get a break and never pay for their crimes. Sonny, Ava, Jason, Cyrus, for sure. Peter and Ryan did eventually pay with their lives, though not before they swathed a path through PC with dead bodies. And who knows if the writers will resurrect them somehow. Plus Carly, Alexis, and many others were indirectly responsible for the deaths of others, and some tried but didn't succeed. Nevertheless, none paid their dues for the duration in prison. Quite frankly, very few of the characters are actually fit to breathe the same air as the others who have lived a life on the straight and narrow. Not only do they get to remain free, but they get to llve a life of luxury. I particularly resent the position Sonny has been allowed in Port Charles all these years when he is nothing but a thug and a criminal, and coffee has nothing to do with his real business. Luke was another who was allowed to get away with crime throughout his career on GH. He was even a rapist, and yet he was considered a hero. It seems that this is the theme in Soaps, or it was in the ones I used to watch. Asa Buchanan, on OLTL and Adam Chandler, wealthy industry barons in their towns who got away with everything because they had money and never really paid for their crimes. I guess that is exactly what is happening in real life today.

The story on how the storyline on Brick to Sonny's right hand came about
Frank the writer is friends with the man playing Brick...and asked him to come to GH and play Brick when he had time to do so
Poor man has soo many jobs "but" he must enjoy being on GH
So...thats how he become a right hand to Sonny and appear every so often

The last couple of weeks watching Jason on this show it occurred to me that he has no other function in life other than to answer to the whims of either Sonny or Carly. No wonder he is such a one dimensional character.
I thought maybe there would be some growth or change after Sam died and he was Danny's one remaining parent. There were little hints of that but then it was dropped and now we haven't seen or heard from Danny for weeks. If Drew takes Scout to Washington maybe Danny should go to live with Alexis-at least she stays in one place and has some stability. It's surprising that any soap opera kid would grow up normal with their parents either bring involved in crime or gallivanting all over the world.

@abbalulu I was thinking the same thing last week. With all the celebration around his return, they've done pretty much nothing with him.
@mysoutherncomfort It was very nice of me to loan out Jack, wasn't it? Hidden agenda to hopefully lose themselves and finally get the boy naked, but it's gotta happen soon. The man pretend cried in front of her.
