Flash Alert-- 8:00 p.m. Eastern, FETV
8:00 p.m. Eastern-- "The Case of the Spurious Sister". Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale, Wm. Hopper, Ray Collins, Karl Weber, Mary LaRoche, Marion Marshall, Peggy Knudsen, James Seay, Charles Cooper
Another of the REALLY good ones! Bruce Chapman is a wealthy businessman whose narcissistic wife, Marie, is a gambling addict whom he tries to help. But her extravagant inclinations won't be curbed, in either money, or men, as Perry and her husband start to unravel her deceptions....
Very film noir-ish, with remote mountain cabin confrontations, glamorous show girls on the skids, daring impersonations, a Las Vegas angle, a cool secretary who can't quite conceal the torch she's carrying for her boss...
The one problem is, there are multiple blondes in this, several of whom vaguely resemble each other, so hard to tell apart at times. But that's part of the fun plot too...
Notable also for having the gorgeous, charismatic one time actress-wife of Robert Wagner, (not Natalie Wood), Marion Marshall:
And Fifties bombshell, Peggy Knudsen:
This is one to definitely tape, since it has a complicated, sophisticated plot with twists, and needs to be seen more than once to appreciate...

Knudsen was in a different episode one night last week.
Marion Marshall is Mom to Wagners oldest daughter, Katie.

Oh, that's right, @Shelbelle , Peggy Knudsen was in that one where she was the slippery roommate, whose motives were murky...
And Marion Marshall was in another one too, about the diamond that all the cutters were afraid to touch, for fear that the whole thing would shatter...
I love that about "Perry Mason"-- they had a little stock company of actors, that they loved to use again and again.

Great, @Daisy Sunflower -- would love to hear your reactions to it once you've watched!
