Re: For Those Who Liked "Soul Train" Back in the Day

Well, I'm late to the party, but ... I loved Soul Train... back in the day.  LOL  Lawdy, that makes us seem so old.

I enjoyed "seeing" the music I listened to.  Same with AB.  I didn't feel so alone when I was dancing all over the place.  Just reminded me that I couldn't dance worth a ...., but I did it anyway.

i thought that this was going to be a limited series, but i believe we are going to have a season 2!

have really enjoyed this series so far.

i heard that the fictional group "encore" is loosely based on the group shalamar.

Interesting.  I thought it was just a mini-series.

I'm enjoying it.

I am enjoying the series.  It's interesting to know what went on behind the scenes even though it is fact mixed in with fiction.  When I watched Soul Train I always loved the dancers, so much energy and talent.  The groups and singers were  worth watching the show too.

I am glad this series was created for TV, well done!

I was definitely front and center back in the day when Soul Train came on to see who the guest artist were and of course those fabulous dancers.

I am loving the series too!
