Re: Flashback - Final Dance in 'Dirty Dancing'

I also loved that movie and the music was awesome.  IIRC, I have the soundtrack to that one, as well as a couple others around (kinda) that time, like Saturday Night Fever, Grease, and a couple others that don't come to mind.    I love fun music.

That movie was my first date with my boyfriend, Alex.  He wanted to see The Untouchables.  I wanted to see Dirty Dancing.

We lasted 3 years ... 2-1/2 years too long!!Woman Tongue

But I did watch the movie when it was on these past few days.  Movie has special meaning to me ...

One of my favorites too! I love the story of how Patrick's mom ran a dance studio and he met his wife Lisa there. I always thought she was very gracious after he died. I'm glad she finally remarried and found happiness again.

Although he and Jennifer Grey had a lot of chemistry, here's another movie couple that supposedly did not get along.

I LOVE the music - "She's Like the Wind."

As much as I like the movie, I couldn't watch the TV remake of it - I probably never will! Smiley Wink

Sorry, but your post was so very inappropriate. As a three time cancer survivor(breast, thyroid, endometrial) I do believe Patrick Swayze died of pancreatic cancer, took treatments and tried to continue working on a tv series he had signed on for. Sweet Serenity, he was only 47 years old.

Shame on you for shaming him - you probably will not see this.

His work on Dirty Dancing and Ghost and several other films were great.

Yep, that one was waaaaaay too short. Hot hot hot. The other dance I love on that is the one to Do You Love Me...Now That I Can Dance when Johnny and his partner are doing the real dirty dance with the rest of the employees. Also hot.
