Finally saw the movie of Downton Abby

It's sad Violet passed, but I think it had to happen.  Sure miss shows that were as good as this one.

I'd add Northern Exposure

Centennial

West Wing

and now:  Yellowstone.

Anyone else have favorites that are like this too?

Oh, you mean the 2022 movie.  I hope to see it some day, but it's interesting to know the Dowager Countess died.  I suppose it was inevitable.

@lcubedsudbury The movie came out in May and that piece of info has been all over the 'net, FB and other media. Trust me, it won't spoil the movie for you (smile).

mmmm-no, that's my first time hearing that and I read quite a bit.  My fault for reading the thread-never even thought about it.

When you open a movie thread, surprises are always around the corner.

Well, first of all there are two DA movies out there, both talked about a great deal after they came out.

Secondly, it's really not possible to talk about a movie or show without talking about it and all the different characters.

Violet's passing was no surprised to even people who didn't follow the series.   I seriously doubt it spoiled it for anyone.

I didn’t open the thread. I was scrolling past the posts and the spoiler was in the first line.
