Re: Film Noir Day Thursday - Movies! Channel

Boy Oh Boy!

What a suspenseful movie through the whole thing. Kept you trying to figure things out.  I felt like I was running just to keep up.

And all the actors seemed to be firing on all cylinders. Whoever shot the film did a great job. There were so many shots that you could see what was coming or going in the same shot.

And because I was watching on the High Def Large TV. There was one scene I couldn't help but notice. Lucille Ball and Mark Stevens were dancing. Lucille Ball had a hat on. The netting from the hat was in Mark Stevens eye. I had no idea how he was able to do the scene. Guess it shows he was quite a good actor. To pretend that he was chatting it up with Lucille Ball and ignoring the netting.

"Lured" is another good one, @Etoile308 !   Lucille Ball is so well-cast as a spunky American, looks gorgeous in those sort of Edwardian costumes, and the acting lineup is stellar.  Cedric Hardwicke is especially good.

Oh No!

I will be on the look out for "Lured".

I have "Hated" Cedric Hardwicke since watching him in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". After seeing that movie I am on the look out to see him in other movies.
