My absolute favorite is White Christmas! It evokes such a warm, sentimental feeling for me. My parents would watch it every year. I would thumb through the TV Guide to make SURE they did not miss it. My children were never huge fans, but, they had to "endure" it thanks to the VHS & DVD.😂 The songs were catchy, the humor, a bit campy, the sets were cheesy and I love it! I am humming the song as I type, and have such a huge smile on my face. It truly is a feel good movie for me😁

My top 5 in order are:

1) 'It Happened on 5th Ave'

2) 'White Christmas'

3) 'Scrooge' 1970/musical with Albert Finney. Love all the 'Scrooge' movies, but this one in particular. I am always amazed by the scenes toward the end with hundreds of actors/extras singing and their coordination during particular parts walking/dancing in the streets...the bell ringers, etc.

4) 'A Christmas Story'

5) 'Holiday Affair'

I have so many it  is hard to name all of them:

"Come to the Stable"

"Bishops Wife" (both versions)

"Say One fpr Me"--this has Bing Crosby and Robert Wagner( he dances and very well). anyway my favorite secular holiday song is sung in this film. "It's the Christmas things you do all year round"

Ok, don;t laugh, one of my favorites is Mr. Magoos Christmas Carol.  I just love it.

White Christmas, I still remember when I was little and saw those red dresses in color for the first time.

Rudolf the red nose raindeer.

Charlie Brown's Christmas Special.

Holiday Affair with Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum

These are just a few.  It would be nice if hallmark and Lifetime would show some of the classics.

@Group 5 minus 1  ALL OF THEM! But, I guess if I had to pick, I woud say "The Bishop's Wife." The thing is, there are so many others that are not necessarily considered Christmas movies: The Sound of Music, Bell Book and Candle, The Shop Around the Corner, You've Got Mail, An Affair to Remember.... I could go on and on

Also really like "One Special Night" with Julie Andrews and James Garner -- unfortunately, it's rarely shown.

I loved "One Special Night" so much that I bought the DVD.   Every Christmas I put it on my blu-ray player and watch it.    It's such a good movie but when I mention it to people not many have ever heard of it.

It's nice to see that someone else enjoys it as much as i do.
